Throughout history, paintings have had a static perspective, as determined by the artist. Nowadays, viewers are not passive anymore. This proposal focuses on dynamic painting, and active audiences. Magic Asian Art allows viewers to enjoy dynamic Asian painting, and furthermore, each audience recreates the same painting according to their personal preference or the impression of a painting. It is quite similar that conductor conducts an orchestra for the same music differently. We extract viewer's intension based on the emotional status or impression of the painting by using gaze tracker and the painting will be more dynamic and fun. Magic Asian Art is neither movies by cinematographer, nor video games by an algorithm, but novel interactive painting media by each user.
Article discusses about the design and implementation of procedural content generation using java, especially the generation of virtual city. It is applied by using L-System to generate the elements of the city and also using some images as the base models. This method is proven to be more effective because it can produce almost unlimited variations of city in short amount of time without any needs to modify the application. The result of this application is a road map which can be used in many areas such as virtual reality, games, or other related purposes.
The purpose of this research is to present a multimedia application for doing simulation in Physics. The application is a web based simulator that implementing HTML5, WebGL, and JavaScript. The objects and the environment will be in three dimensional views. This application is hoped will become the substitute for practicum activity. The current development is the application only covers Newtonian mechanics. Questionnaire and literature study is used as the data collecting method. While Waterfall Method used as the design method. The result is Three-DimensionalPhysics Simulator as online web application. Three-Dimensionaldesign and mentor-mentee relationship is the key features of this application. The conclusion made is Three-DimensionalPhysics Simulator already fulfilled in both design and functionality according to user. This application also helps them to understand Newtonian mechanics by simulation. Improvements are needed, because this application only covers Newtonian Mechanics.
