Background: The incidence of hypertension in the elderly continues to increase every year and the problems that often occur in elderly hypertension are non-compliance with therapy or treatment, lifestyle changes, self care behavior that is less than optimal and the complications due to hypertension. This is influenced by beliefs (self-efficacy) that the elderly have to change their behavior, which is self care behavior which is not good. Purpose: to observe the relationship between self efficacy and self care behavior in the elderly with hypertension. Method: This study used a descriptive correlation design with a cross sectional approach. Overall, the samples obtained were 252 elderly with hypertension in the Surabaya Public Health Center area through cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. Results: The elderly with hypertension have a self efficacy of 40.9% in the low category and 59.1% in the good category and have a self care behavior of 31.7% in the less category, 39.3% in category enough, 29% in the good category. This study shows a significant relationship between self efficacy and self care behavior with a value of p = 0,000 <0.05 and a coefficient correlation is 0,443. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between self efficacy and self care behavior in hypertensive elderly and the better self efficacy in elderly with hypertension, it tends to increase self care behavior. Recommendation: Nurse must be know that self-efficacy is the most important prerequisite for behavior change in elderly hypertension to provide self-confidence for elderly people doing self care behavior. Background: Motor Imagery (MI) is an intervention to improve motor skills in post stroke hemiparesis patients by focusing on weak body parts. Objective: To describe the effectiveness of providing MI in the rehabilitation of post stroke patients. Method: The database used to identify suitable articles obtained from Scopus, ProQuest and Pubmed was limited to the last 5 years of publication from 2016 to 2020, English, and fulltext articles. The literature review used the keyword "Motor Imagery" AND "Stroke Rehabilitation". In searching articles used "AND". Only 8 articles met the inclusion criteria. This review was from these 8 articles. Results: MI has effectiveness in cognitive, sensory and motor post-stroke patients by stimulating neuroplasticity in various areas of the brain so that it accelerates the increase in O2, glucose and various metabolites that lead to increased regional metabolism through dilation of cerebral arterioles and capillaries. MI which is given routinely will help the recovery of motor function of post-stroke patients and increase patient independence. Conclusion: MI has a lot of effectiveness in the rehabilitation of post stroke patients. Suggestion: MI is considered necessary to be applied in hospitals in Indonesia. Hypertension is one of the main risk factors for life-threatening cardiovascular disease and is often called the silent killer The results of basic health research in 2018 suffered from hypertension were the most in the elderly aged 55 to 64 years (55.2%). Hypertension in the elderly is a chronic disease that requires disease care management including regular blood pressure control and self-care behavior programs to prevent further complications. This study aims to determine the factors related to self-care behavior in hypertensive elderly in the Integrated Health Care Center of elderly, Srikandi, Turi Sub District, Community Health Centers of Sukorejo, Sukorejo district, Blitar. The method used in this study was an analytical descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach conducted on 38 hypertensive elderly people. The study was conducted from January to February 2022. Analysis data using multiple linear regression analysis to ascertain the possible factors that influence self-care behavior. Based on this study, the Rank Spearman correlation test results, the factor that correlated with self-care behavior was level of education and time living with diagnosed hypertension with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.008; 0,000 with a correlation coefficient is positive, the value of 0.427; 0.605. so that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional. This study recommends that community nurses must understand the factors that influence self-care behavior in hypertensive clients in the community so that they are able to provide appropriate nursing care.
