Character is an application of the value of goodness in which there is character, mental and moral qualities that must be applied and instilled in students so that they become beings who have good character and dignified personality. Therefore, character education is an important part in building a student's identity. Character development must be based on Pancasila values. Building the next generation of a nation with good character is the responsibility of all walks of life, because our true responsibility for education together, of course this is not an easy matter, therefore it requires awareness from all parties that character education is very important to be implemented. Seeing the phenomenon of the industrial era 4.0 is a challenge to pay attention to the character of students. The planting of nationalism based on Pancasila as the state ideology needs to be done to deal with potential threats in the future. The industrial revolution 4.0 was an era in which massive changes occurred in various fields and had a profound impact that could not be separated also in terms of the character development of elementary students. These characters which will become the basic capital of students can compete in the international and national world later. Especially in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0. Strong character also forms a formidable personality of students so that they are not easily influenced by negative things as the industrial revolution 4.0 goes on. Therefore, Pancasila must be implemented as early as possible in learning to make the character of elementary school students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 much better
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought changes to nearly all aspects, including the aspect of economy and education. The use of social media has then increased during the pandemic for various purposes, such as for doing businesses and learning. However, many people have some constraints when using social media due to poor media literacy, limited knowledge in information and communication technology (ICT), lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and poor environmental condition.This study thus aims to describe the trends of social media use during the COVID-19 pandemic and how important digital literacy is to allow users to use social media wisely and carefully. The type of this research is literature review to presents theoretical frameworks to answer the research question.
Status pendidikan orangtua merupakan hasil dari keseimbangan antara gizi anak sekolah dasar yang sedang tumbuh kembang. Anak yang mengalami kekurangan gizi akan menganggu pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan mental. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesehatan gizi anak yang berpengaruh pada status pendidikan orangtua. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Tuhemberua desa banua gea Nias Utara, pada bulan Agustus 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observational dengan rancangan crosssactional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak sekolah dasar Tuhemberua Nias Utara. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak yang terpilih secara random menjadi subjek penelitian. Jumlah sampel yang diambil berdasarkan penghitungan sampel size epiinfo dari populasi 334 respondent pada drajat kepercayaan 95% didapatkan hasil sebesar 120 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis diskriptif statistik dan hubungan antar variable di uji dengan analisis regresi linier. Analisis data menggunakan univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pendidikan orangtua dengan gizi anak sekolah dasar (p value=0,001). Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan secara statistik ada hubungan yang bermakna (p-value < 0.05) antara pendidikan orangtua terhadap status gizi anak. Orang tua lebih memperhatikan cara mengelola dan konsumsi makanan supaya anak mencapai status gizi yang baik sehingga pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dapat maksimal.
