ABSTRACTFeasibility of documentary film on types of feed raw materials for Class X SUPM Negeri Pontianak. The use of learning media as a learning resource is very important to help explain the material being taught to be more optimal. However, media selection must also match the needs of students. The problem experienced is the need for media that can accommodate a lot of material and can be applied to students who have auditory and visual learning characteristics. Documentary film media is made to aim to answer this problem so that the achievement of the learning objectives will be successful. This research used Development Research method and validated by 5 validators who were tested with Aiken V validation and thereliability test Intraclass Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study indicate that documentary film media is suitable for use and there are still criteria that must be improved on the media. The reliability test shows anvalue of Alpha 0.757 with a satisfactory category and an Intraclass Correlation Coefficient value of 0.384. Keywords: documentary film; feasibility; learning media
The location close to urban areas and the rapid rate of decline in area can threaten the diversity of rare fruits in the Sibohe Forest. A re-survey in the Sibohe Forest, Singkawang, West Kalimantan was conducted to confirm reports of the existence of 15 rare fruit plant species collected in 2017-2018 by previous researchers. The inventory process started from collection of specimens carried out during June-July 2021, herbarium making, identification and descriptive data analysis. Based on the similarity of regional names, 13 out of 15 species were confirmed according to the previous reports, while 2 species were not found due to the possibility of out of fruiting season. However, 4 of the 13 confirmed species were identified with different scientific names. Additional survey to the people in Pontianak City aged 17-34 years revealed some different names for the same type of fruit among these four species. Four new plant species were also collected and described in this study including amok (Alpinia sp., Zingiberaceae), nubik (Artocarpus sp., Moraceae), tehengan (Artocarpus sp., Moraceae), and smallest arok (Ficus sp., Moraceae). Potentials and challenges in the inventory of rare fruit plants in the Sibohe Forest should be studied regularly as well as efforts to increase public knowledge and interest, especially for the younger generation. Moreover, recommendation should be made to support conservation activities based on the actual data collected in the field regularly.
Background: Media booklets are media used in the learning process that have advantages in supportive conditions. The booklet contains a summary of the material that is equipped with pictures and colors so that it is interesting. This study aims to develop a booklet with enriched information about the antidyslipidemic activity test of bay leaf extract (Syzygium polianthum (Wight) Walp.) as a learning medium in the Sub Material of Circulatory System Abnormalities for second grade of highschool. Methods: This development research uses the type of research and development (R&D). The development stages include potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product. The media booklet was validated by 5 validators in terms of format, content, and language, all of which covered 9 criteria. Results: Validation obtained Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI) values of 1 which meet the minimum criteria for content validity. Conclusion: Thus, the booklet enriched with the results of the antidyslipidemic activity test of bay leaf extract (Syzygium polianthum (Wight) Walp.) was declared content valid as a learning medium in the Circulatory System Abnormalities Submaterial.
