in this paper, we describe how we improve the efficacy of undergraduate students' training by integrating students' experiences in different competitions. Students are selected to join the robotics team to compete in various international competitions. They take part in different sub-teams. Team members are supported through mentoring by supervisors and experience exchanges with the other sub-teams. Various measures have been implemented in order to facilitate the experience exchanges and students can learn from their peers. With the correct guidance and a suitable team working environment, students can gain fruitful experiences and try different things beyond their comfort zones.
