Keluarga berencana merupakan suatu program pemerintah yang dirancang untuk menyeimbangkan antara kebutuhan dan jumlah penduduk untuk mengendalikan laju pertumbuhan penduduk. Dalam pemilihan alat kontrasepsi yang dipengaruhi umur, pekerjaan, pendidikan, pengetahuan dan sikap, ketersediaan pelayanan kesehatan, dan dukungan keluarga. Faktor yang disebutkan diatas merupakan hal yang penting untuk diketahui karena dapat mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan seseorang dalam pemakaian alat kontrasepsi. Metode kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi melalui penyuluhan Kesehatan yang di adakan dua kali pertemuan dalam 2 minggu. Penyuluhan yang diberikan mengenai edukasi pendidikan kesehatan pada pasangan usia subur dalam pemilihan kontrasepsi. Terdapat Pasangan usia subur yang mengikuti kegiatan edukasi sebanyak 32 pasangan. Media yang digunakan leaflet, infokus, laptop dan pawer point. Pemilihan jenis kontrasepsi dengan metode suntik ada peningkatan sebesar 71,87% menjadi 78,12% dengan 23 pasangan menjadi 25 pasangan usia subur yang memilih metode kontrasepsi suntik. Setelah dilakukan edukasi masih dominan Pasangan usia subur menggunakan kontrasespsi yaitu 78,12 % merencanakan akan tetap menggunakan jenis kontrsepsi melalui suntik, tetapi ada peningkatan perencanaan akan mengikuti peserta kontrasepsi norplant yaitu 6,12% dan KB Tubebektomi/vasektomi 3,12%. Hal ini dimungkinakan setelah mendapatkan penjelasan dan memahami serta keinginan dapat memberikan masa depan yang lebih cerah pada keluarganya dengan memilih kontrasepsi mantap dengan mencukupkan jumlah anak yang telah dimiliki. Dalam rangka mendukung pelayanan dan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kesehatan reproduksi, maka diadakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa Edukasi Kesehatan Reproduksi dan Hak-hak Reproduksi pada Pasangan Usia Subur dalam pelayanan Keluarga Berencana, Kelurahan Kubu Dalam Parak Parakah.
Background: The dominant factors that influence Covid-19 prevention behavior can be divided into three domains; knowledge, attitude and action. Knowledge is the result of knowing after people have sensed certain objects. Attitude describes whether a person like or dislike towards an object. Action is a response to a stimulus that is active and observable.Methods: This study aims to determine the public's perception towards Covid 19 Prevention in Ganting Parak Gadang Village, East Padang. The type of research used is the Winshield Survey. The sample used 24 families by random sampling at TNI AD Ganting Parak Gadang dormitory, RW: 08 consists of RT 01,02,03,04,05,06.Results: The results of this research showed that the respondents' perceptions of 100% considered the current situation is seriously in dangerous and should not be considered as trivial cases, 62% of handling COVID-19 carried out preventive behaviors such as maintaining immunity, 71% of people's behavior in worshiping choosing to worship at home, as much as 75% did not go to planned events. Knowledge of respondents 84% still doubted and did not know about the symptoms of covid 19 and as much as 23% did not know about OTG covid 19 is 62% knew from social media.Conclusions: The conclusion in this study are attitude and the highest percentage of preventive actions in the good category compared with the lower percentage of prevention knowledge. The suggestion in the study is that the public is expected to maintain health protocols by continuing to follow government recommendations in efforts to prevent Covid-19.
Cooperative learning model Explicit Instruction (EI) is a direct instructional model specifically designed to develop students' comprehension of procedural and declarative knowledge that can be taught with the step-by-step pattern. Based on the results of student learning in the subject of family planning services, the average score for each score is as follows: A (14.12%), B (69.41%), C (12.94%), and D (3.52%). This illustrates that there are still some students who get less optimal score. This study aims to determine the effect of Cooperative Learning Model Explicit Instruction (EI) to the students’ learning outcomes of level II in STIKes Ranah Padang Minang. This research is experimental. The population of this study is all second level students of STIKes Ranah Minang Padang (112 students). The sample selection is done through purposive sampling. The class selected to be the sample is class A as the experimental class and class B as the control class. This research was conducted in STIKes Ranah Minang Padang for 2 weeks beginning on July 1 to July 12, 2014. The results showed that learning outcomes’ achievement in the experimental class was higher than those in the control class. This was evident from the difference in the average of posttest experimental score where the experimental class gained up to 80.60 while the control class gained 70.90. After all, it was obtained that the thitung = 5.636 and ttable = 1.994. Because thitung 5.636 ˃ ttable = 1.994, then the hypothesis is accepted. From the research, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Explicit Instruction (EI) impacts on the student learning outcomes in Family Planning (FP) subject. It is expected that the lecturers will employ the cooperative learning model Explicit Instruction (EI) in Family Planning (FP) subject and other subjects.
