The two most widely used locking bandwidth equations for injection locked oscillators, Adler's and Kurokawa's equations, are compared for the first time. Three differences are pointed out from the comparison: first, the absence of the factor
A highly efficient photodiode plus amplifier hybrid module in the mm-wave region is demonstrated. The design uses a broadband edge-coupled PIN photodiode and a MMIC amplifier interconnected through a microstrip matching circuit. An improvement of 9 dB in output power is demonstrated at 27 GHz compared to the same PIN diode connected to a 5OQ amplifier without matching.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
