A visible-light photocatalytic trifluoromethylthiolation of aryl amine through in situ generation of aryldiazonium salts with S-trifluoromethyl 4-methoxylbenzenesulfonothioate was developed.
A novel Pd/C catalysed direct reductive coupling reaction between nitroarenes and sodium arylsulfinates to synthesize N-arylsulfonamides was developed.
An efficient route to deoxygenation of sulphoxides to sulphides with PCl under mild reaction condition was developed. PCl was used as a reducing agent for the first time to convert sulphoxides to sulphides. The mild conditions, use of cheap and readily available reagent, and broad substrate scope render it a useful strategy for preparing sulphides.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
