The development of new media technology brings serious security problems to the transmission of secret remote sensing or military images. It is a new and challenging task to study the technology of protecting these secret images. In this paper, based on the powerful spatial feature extraction capability of the convolutional neural network, a novel two-channel deep hiding network (TDHN) is designed by introducing advanced ideas such as skip connection, feature fusion, etc., and the two channels are respectively used to input the cover image and the secret image simultaneously. This network consists of two parts: the hiding network and the extraction network. The sender uses the hiding network to hide a secret image in a common cover image and generates a hybrid image called the hidden image. The receiver uses the extraction network to extract and reconstruct the secret image from the hidden image. Meanwhile, an innovative loss function is constructed by introducing two metrics called MSE and SSIM. Experimental results show that the TDHN optimized by the loss function can generate the hidden image and extracted image in high quality. The SSIM value between the hidden image and the original cover image is up to around 0.99, and the SSIM value between the extracted image and the original secret image is up to around 0.98. Through testing on different datasets, it is verified that the designed and optimized TDHN has excellent generalization capability, and thus it has important theoretical significance and engineering value. Artificial bee colony (ABC) is one of the most popular swarm intelligence optimization algorithms which have been widely used in numerical optimization and engineering applications. However, there are still deficiencies in ABC regarding its local search ability and global search efficiency. Aiming at these deficiencies, an ABC variant named hybrid ABC (HABC) algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the variable neighborhood search factor is added to the solution search equation, which can enhance the local search ability and increase the population diversity. Secondly, inspired by the neuroscience investigation of real honeybees, the memory mechanism is put forward, which assumes the artificial bees can remember their past successful experiences and further guide the subsequent foraging behavior. The proposed memory mechanism is used to improve the global search efficiency. Finally, the results of comparison on a set of ten benchmark functions demonstrate the superiority of HABC.
Aiming at the shortcomings of single objective optimization for solving weapon target assignment (WTA) and the existing multiobjective optimization based WTA method having problems being applied in air and missile defense combat under uncertainty, a fuzzy multiobjective programming based WTA method was proposed to enhance the adaptability of WTA decision to the changes of battlefield situation. Firstly, a multiobjective quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization with double/single-well (MOQPSO-D/S) algorithm was proposed by adopting the double/single-well based position update method, the hybrid random mutation method, and the two-stage based guider particles selection method. Secondly, a fuzzy multiobjective programming WTA model was constructed with consideration of air and missile defense combat's characteristics. And, the uncertain WTA model was equivalently clarified based on the necessity degree principle of uncertainty theory. Thirdly, with particles encoding and illegal particles adjusting, the MOQPSO-D/S algorithm was adopted to solve the fuzzy multiobjective programming based WTA model. Finally, example simulation was conducted, and the result shows that the WTA model constructed is rational and MOQPSO-D/S algorithm is efficient.
Current electronic warfare jammers and radar countermeasures are characterized by dynamism and uncertainty. This paper focuses on a decision-making framework of radar anti-jamming countermeasures. The characteristics and implementation process of radar intelligent anti-jamming systems are analyzed, and a scheduling method for radar anti-jamming action based on the Partially Observable Markov Process (POMDP) is proposed. The sample-based belief distribution is used to reflect the radar's cognition of the environment and describes the uncertainty of the recognition of jamming patterns in the belief state space. The belief state of jamming patterns is updated with Bayesian rules. The reward function is used as the evaluation criterion to select the best anti-jamming strategy, so that the radar is in a low threat state as often as possible. Numerical simulation combines the behavioral prior knowledge base of radars and jammers and obtains the behavioral confrontation benefit matrix from the past experience of experts. The radar controls the output according to the POMDP policy, and dynamically performs the best anti-jamming action according to the change of jamming state. The results show that the POMDP anti-jamming policy is better than the conventional policy. The POMDP approach improves the adaptive anti-jamming capability of the radar and can quickly realize the anti-jamming decision to jammers. This work provides some design ideas for the subsequent development of an intelligent radar.
