CUGB), leading a group focusing on Fe, Ca and Mg isotope geochemistry. He received his B.S. (2005) and Ph.D. (2011) degrees in geochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China. After completing his Ph.D., he came to CUGB for post-doctoral research and joined the Isotope Geochemistry Lab as a faculty in 2013. His main interest was petrogenesis of adakitic rocks and their implication on evolution of orogenic crust. He currently focuses on methodology developments on metal stable isotope geochemistry and its application in tracing key geological and planetary processes, e.g., deep carbon and oxygen cycles, changes in paleo-environment, and the formation and evolution of the Moon. He has published over 50 peerreviewed scientific papers in ISI-indexed journals.
