Graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) can be mainly classified into armchair graphene nanoribbons (aGNRs) and zigzag graphene nanoribbons (zGNRs) by different edge chiral directions. In this work, by introducing Stone-Wales defects on the edges of the V-shaped aGNRs, we propose a kind of armchair/zigzag edge hybridized GNRs (a/zHGNRs) and using the density functional theory and the nonequilibrium Green's function method, the band structures and electronic transport properties of the a/zHGNRs have been calculated. Our results show that an indirect bandgap appears in the band structures of the a/zHGNRs, which is very different from the direct bandgap of aGNRs and gapless of zGNRs. We also find that the valance band is mainly derived from the armchair partial atoms on the hybridized edge, while the conduction band comes mainly from the zigzag partial atoms of the hybridized edge. Meanwhile, the bandgap also oscillates with a period of three when the ribbon width increases. In addition, our quantum transport calculations show that there is a remarkable transition between the semiconductor and the metal with different ribbon widths in the a/zHGNRs devices, and the corresponding physical analysis is given.
Objective. To explore the application of NRS2002 in preoperative nutritional screening of patients with liver cancer (LC). Methods. 60 LC patients treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University (January 2018–May 2021) were chosen as the research objects, and split into group J without nutritional risk and group Q with nutritional risk according to the results of NRS2002 to compare the preoperative situation, surgery-related indexes, hematological indexes, postoperative recovery, and incidence of complications between the two groups. Results. Group J (n = 28) and group Q (n = 32) showed no obvious difference in preoperative situation, and patients’ liver function indexes were within the normal range. The duration of surgery in group J was notably shorter compared with group Q ( P < 0.05 ). Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), direct bilirubin (DBIL), and albumin in group J were notably different from those of group Q ( P < 0.001 ) at 1 day after surgery. ALT and AST in group J were notably different from those of group Q at 3 days after surgery ( P < 0.001 ). No obvious differences were observed in the hematological indexes between the two groups at 5 days after surgery ( P > 0.05 ). The total amount of albumin infusion, postoperative hospitalization time, and hospitalization cost in group J were notably lower compared with group Q ( P < 0.001 ). The incidence of complications in group J was notably lower compared with group Q ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. Postoperative recovery of LC patients is closely related to their preoperative nutritional status, and those with poor nutritional status have a high incidence of postoperative complications and long recovery time. NRS2002 can effectively screen the nutritional status of patients and provide reference for prognosis evaluation.
Objectives: Electrocardiogram (ECG) can be affected by autonomic nerves with body position changes. The study aims to explore the ECG changes of children with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) when their posture changes.Materials and methods: Sixty-four children diagnosed with DCM were recruited as research group and 55 healthy children as control group. T-wave amplitude and QT interval in ECG were recorded, and their differences between supine and orthostatic ECG were compared in both groups. Subsequently, the children with DCM were followed up and the differences before and after treatment compared.Results: ① Comparisons in differences: Differences of T-wave amplitude in lead II and III, aVF, and V5 and differences of QT interval in lead II, aVL, aVF, and V5 were lower in the research group than in the control group. ② Logistic regression analysis and diagnostic test evaluation: The differences of T-wave amplitude in lead III and QT interval in lead aVL may have predictive value for DCM diagnosis. When their values were 0.00 mV and 30 ms, respectively, the sensitivity and specificity of the combined index were 37.5 and 83.6%. ③ Follow-up: In the response group, the T-wave amplitude difference in lead aVR increased and the difference of QT interval in lead V6 decreased after treatment. In the non-response group, there was no difference before and after treatment. When the combined index of the differences of T-wave amplitude difference in lead aVR and QT interval difference in lead V6, respectively, were −0.05 mV and 5 ms, the sensitivity and specificity of estimating the prognosis of DCM were 44.4 and 83.3%.Conclusions: The differences of T-wave amplitude and QT interval may have a certain value to estimate DCM diagnosis and prognosis.
