Superoxide dismutases are enzymes that catalyze the dismutation of superoxide radicals into oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. In eukaryotic cells two forms of SOD are found, one containing copper and zinc (CuZnSOD) in the cytosol and one containing manganese (MnSOD) in the mitochondria1 matrix. Inefficient detoxification of superoxide radicals has been associated with the etiology of various diseases in adults and premature infants (1 -3). Studies in several experimental animal models, including sheep, have shown that antiox !ant enzymes are weakly expressed in fetal lung until late in gestation. It has been suggested that infants born prematurely would be at increased risk for oxidative stress because of the reduced levels of lung antioxidant activity (4-6).
Supply disruption is a common phenomenon in industry, which brings destructive effects to downstream firms and damages the sustainability of the supply chain. To mitigate the supply disruption risk, the authors investigate two types of procurement strategies for a firm with two ordering opportunities. Through establishing Stackelberg game models, the authors drive the supplier’s optimal production, and the firm’s optimal procurement and replenishment strategies under the option purchase (OP) strategy and the procurement commitment (PC) strategy, respectively. The findings show that, under both types of strategies, the firm’s procurement follows a “threshold” principle. Moreover, the firm’s procurement quantity can be represented by two newsvendor solutions. A lower option price or option exercise price benefits the firm, while it damages the supplier. The supplier benefits from a higher mean value (MV) of emergency procurement price and the firm benefits from a lower market demand variability. Counter-intuitively, a lower MV of the emergency procurement price is not always beneficial to the firm. A higher market demand variability could be beneficial to the supplier under the PC strategy. The firm should first choose the PC strategy and then change to the OP strategy as the disruption risk increases.
With the rapid development of the new generation of information technology represented by the Internet, big data and the Internet of Things, the development of new media art has reached a height beyond the reach of any art in the past. In the context of the high popularity of media technology, many local universities in China have established new media arts majors. The new media art major is also an art category with strong timeliness. The rapid development of modern science and technology provides unlimited space for the development of the new media art major. Therefore, the talent training of new media art should keep up with the pace and trend of the development of the times. The main purpose of this study is reviewing the literature about interdisciplinary talent training model for new media arts major at Xi 'an University. A literature review can address research questions with a power that no single study has. It can also help to provide an overview of areas in which the re-search is disparate and interdisciplinary.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
