The
solubility data of 4,4′-dichlorodiphenyl disulfide in
solvents (ethanol, methanol, ethyl acetate, methylbenzene, chloroform,
acetone) were measured between (303.15 and 333.15) K under atmospheric
pressure using synthetic method and laser monitoring technique. The
experimental data was correlated with the Apelblat equation and measured
up to experimental data. For six solvents studied, the average relative
errors σ are all less than 2.6 %, and the root-mean-square deviations
are all less than 0.45 %.
The
solubilities of 4-amino-4′-nitrodiphenyl sulfide in n-butanol, ethyl acetate, chlorobenzene, toluene, dichloromethane,
and chloroform were determined between 287.45 K and 365.55 K (p = 0.1 MPa) using a laser monitoring dynamic technique
and synthetic method. The solubilities determined were well-correlated
with the modified Apelblat equation with the mean relative deviation
(σ) no more than 1.27 % and the root-mean-square deviation (rmsd)
no more than 0.07 %.
