It is a customary manipulation for destructive cult to deceive followers under the guise of orthodox religion. Thus, if only to reveal the words and deeds, it is difficult for the dupes to know destructive cult correctly and then break away from it, because understanding the reason for the words and deeds of a man is more important than what he says and does. Based on this, this article puts forward a psychological way to distinguish and recognize orthodox religion and destructive cult: All the motives of the hierarch to create the traditional religion are kind, loving, even noble, and great, while the motives of the hierarch to create destructive cult are to defraud the power to control, deceive sex, and swindle wealth.

The breeding and communication of cult are all realized on the base of psychological activities, psychological factors play an important role in preventing and resisting breeding and communication of cult, and in this paper, it demonstrates respectively at this point, and starts from forming the long-term mechanism of the Chinese cult governance and proposes the conception and specific suggestions accordingly of establishing the national psychological assistance system to prevent and resist breeding and communication of cult.

Heretic rescue is a major part of anti-heresy activities, in which psychological counseling and therapy play a unique and irreplaceable role. This paper illustrates the role of psychological counseling and therapy from perspective of domestic reality of heretic rescue, describes difficulties and challenges faced in carrying out psychological counseling and therapy among heretics as well as available theories and methods in psychological counseling and therapy for heretic rescue.
