Consumption of fish in Indonesia continuously increase from 2000 to 2014. Particularly fish farming in Java from 2006-2014 is quite high, so there need to be adequate facilities for fish farming. Responding to these challenges, we developed Offshore Cage Ocean FARMITS technology specifically designed For the southern waters of Java Island. This paper discusses the static structure strength analysis of deformation and maximum yield strength that occurs on the offshore cage structure of Ocean FARMITS. The frame structure made of hollow pipe made from HDPE will be placed at 4,41m Wave Height, with a period of 19s. Numerical simulations are performed to obtain a motion response RAO and structural response due to random waves. This Structure is then analyzed under mooring conditions with the Catenary Mooring configuration. Rope stress that occur due to environmental loads will give tension stress to the structure, resulting in the offshore cage structure to occur maximum stress and deformation. The result of this research is to prove that the structure that is made by HDPE able to restrain the tension force of mooring line stress. This has been validated by the standard of Practical Aspects of Offshore Aquaculture System Design from Aquaculture America, so this structure can be said to be operating safely under Indonesian Irregular Wave.
The spread of COVID-19 is still very high in Indonesia, especially in Eastern Indonesia. Inadequate facilities and the presence of health workers are still the toughest challenges in dealing with the spread of this virus. The low awareness of health protocols has led to various clusters of Covid-19 transmission in various places, including the orphanage. Real actions of concern at the Orphanage were carried out by educating on health protocols to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from spreading to the residents of the Orphanage. There were 28 health protocol education participants consisting of 24 girls and 4 caregivers at the Muhammadiyah Al-Amin Orphanage Sorong. Evaluation of the results of health protocol education by observing and monitoring health conditions where residents of the orphanage have used standard masks and physical distancing. In addition, the residents of the orphanage have also behaved in washing their hands before starting activities.
Kapal Airaha 02 merupakan kapal latih yang dimiliki oleh Politeknik Kelautan dan Perikanan Sorong. Kapal ini merupakan jenis kapal ikan yang berukuran 169 GT, panjang 30,20 m dan lebar 6,30 m. KM. Airaha 02 mampu melaju dengan kecepatan 12,5 knot. KM. Airaha 02 dilengkapi dengan alat tangkap tuna long line dan squid jigging, Frozen fish hold, dan freezing room. Keselamatan dan kenyamanan crew dan penumpang diatas KM. Airaha 02 sangat perlu dipertimbangkan demi kelancaran proses operasi penangkapan ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Olah Gerak Kapal Latih KM. Airaha 02 akibat gelombang acak, sehingga dapat mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan penumpang berdasarkan kriteria ISO 2631 melalui analisis Motion Sickness Incident (MSI). Analisis dilakukan dengan metode reverse engineering. Model 3D dibuat berdasarkan data general arrangement dari KM. Airaha 02, ukuran utama, dan hasil survey langsung. Olah gerak kapal akibat eksitasi gelombang didapatkan dari hasil analisis RAO, selanjutnya tingkat kenyamanan dilakukan dengan analisis MSI. Gerakan terbesar yang dialami oleh KM Airaha 02 yaitu gerakan surge seberar 2,8 m/m dan roll sebesar 6,1 deg/m. Penumpang mulai merasakan ketidaknyamanan setelah 2 jam perjalanan ketika gelombang datang dari arah head seas. Jika arah datang gelombang dari samping, penumpang mulai merasakan ketidaknyamanan setelah 8 jam perjalanan.
The lack of competence of Sorong Marine and Fisheries Polytechnic cadets in the field of drawing techniques is one of the causes of the low absorption of graduates in the field of engineering, where the Fisheries Mechanization study program has a curriculum syllabus that is suitable for various engineering industries such as shipbuilding, food processing machinery, ship machinery factories, fishing gear factory, pump factory. While the technical drawing courses taught in the fishery mechanization study program are still limited to manual drawings with paper, as well as tasks in other courses in the form of drawings are also still carried out by manual drawing processes, while technical drawings in industry require accuracy and speed which are difficult to rely on. manual drawing techniques. AutoCad software is one of the computer applications that is considered very effective as a tool in learning and improving students' understanding of technical drawing. Activation of the legal licensed AutoCAD software is expensive, so in this Community Service activity, the AutoCad free Student License activation is carried out, in addition to providing an increase in the soft skills of cadets. The stages of activities in this PKM are: computer inventory in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, registering the official Autocad student version license for computers in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, installation & activation of Autocad software on computers in the KP Sorong Polytechnic Computer laboratory, Autocad training for cadets Fisheries Mechanization Study Program KP Sorong Polytechnic, and evaluation of Autocad training for cadets of the Fisheries Mechanization Study Program at KP Sorong Polytechnic. The results achieved are the activation of the AutoCad software with a student license on 34 computers in the computer and telematics lab of the KP Sorong Polytechnic, as well as the improvement in the soft skills of cadets in making shop drawings that can be measured through evaluation, namely as many as 13 cadets passed the training with 8 cadets getting value over 75.
