This study investigates the impact of implementing integral calculus lectures which were originally very suitable in face-to-face delivery, but during the Covid-19 pandemic situation, these were delivered online through e-learning. This research analyzes the correlation between self-efficacy, creativity perception, and productive disposition towards academic performance using path analysis and was modeled in the form of regression equation. This study involved 108 students (35 males and 72 females) at a university in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The research instrument used was questionnaire of self-efficacy (11 items), creativity perception (15 items) and mathematical disposition (14 items). All research variable items had a Pearson correlation (r) greater than 0.25, so all items were said to be valid. The reliability coefficient of Cronbach's Alpha for self-efficacy, perceived creativity, and productive disposition were included in the high category. The results showed a correlation between self-efficacy and creativity perception with regard to productive disposition. There was also a direct correlation between self-efficacy and academic performance. Creativity perception did not show a direct influence on academic performance nor. Productive disposition had a direct influence on academic performance. There was a correlation between self-efficacy, creativity perception, and productive disposition of academic performance. Self-efficacy (happy to help other friends, dare to face criticism and challenges, and dare to compete to win a competition) had the largest contribution to academic performance while creativity perception (creative ideas must be sophisticated and complex, creative people have high curiosity, creative people find it difficult to accept different opinions from others, creativity can only be developed in certain people, and creativity comes over by chance) has the smallest one. These findings can be used as first step in understanding creative perception as a weak contribution to cognitive abilities about academic performance, even though creativity has an important role in developing mathematics performance. Contribution/Originality:The originality of this study lies in it investigating the impact of implementing integral calculus lectures through e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. It shows how the application of elearning can encourage students to engage and manage learning independently and learn in a practical way. Factors like self-efficacy and perception of creativity have been analyzed to determine how they affected students' academic performance.
Abstract. The corona virus causes all activities to be carried out online so that all activities require Internet access which makes mobile telecommunications operator companies one of the promising investments in this pandemic. Stock investing allows investors to get profits in a relatively short time. Investments in stocks are currently unstable, as the whole world has been in difficult times since the coronavirus. Capital market players can feel the loss, which causes share prices to tend to decline. The impact of the corona virus is to paralyze all areas, especially the economy, so that an investor must be able to predict an increase or decrease in stock prices. The binomial method helps investors to predict the possibility of a stock price that will occur and is clarified by using a binomial tree that can be predicted in the form of stock prices by having the possibility of four predictions, two predictions describing an increase in shares and two other predictions describing the possibility of a falling stock price. Abstrak. Virus korona menyebabkan semua kegiatan dilakukan melalui daring (online) sehingga semua kegiatan memerlukan akses Internet yang membuat perusahaan operator telekomunikasi seluler menjadi salah satu investasi yang menjanjikan dimasa pandemi ini Investasi ialah komitmen menempatkan sejumlah dana dalam waktu yang cukup lama untuk memperoleh keuntungan di masa datang. Investasi saham memungkinkan investor mendapatkan keuntungan dalam waktu yang relatif singkat. Investasi dalam bentuk saham pada saat ini tidaklah stabil, karena seluruh dunia dalam masa sulit semenjak adanya virus korona. Kerugianpun dapat dirasakan oleh pelaku pasar modal yang menyebabkan harga saham cenderung menurun. Dampak virus korona adalah melumpuhkan segala bidang terutama perekonomian sehingga sebagai seorang investor harus bisa memprediksi peningkatan atau penurunan harga saham. Metode binomial membantu investor untuk memprediksi kemungkinan harga saham yang akan terjadi dan diperjelas dengan menggunakan pohon binomial hasil prediksi yang di dapat berupa harga saham dengan memiliki kemungkinan empat prediksi dua prediksi menggambarkan kenaikan saham dan dua prediksi lain menggambarkan kemungkinan harga saham turun.
Sakti Beton Jaya Mandiri is an industry that provides various types of construction materials, one of which is the manufacture of concrete buis. There are seven types of buis concrete produced. The raw materials used in the manufacture of buis concrete are sand, cement and water. When producing concrete buis, sometimes there is an excess or residual raw material, which caused by the inaccurate calculation of the raw material requirements. The aim of this paper is to optimize the production of concrete buis according to the available resources so that there are no residues. De Novo programming model is used and then formulated into a linear programming model using the simplex method. The calculation results the optimum numbers of production are 216 buis concrete type 20, 238 buis concrete type 30, 142 buis concrete type 40, 130 buis concrete type 50, 112 buis concrete type 60, 125 buis concrete type 80, and 150 buis concrete type 100 with total production profit in March 2021 of Rp. 47,685,060.58. Sakti Beton Jaya Mandiri merupakan industri penyedia berbagai jenis material konstruksi salah satunya pembuatan buis beton. Terdapat tujuh jenis tipe buis beton yang diproduksi. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan buis beton yaitu pasir, semen dan air. Saat memproduksi buis beton terkadang terjadi kelebihan atau sisa bahan baku yang penyebabnya diperkirakan pada kurang tepatnya memperhitungkan kebutuhan bahan baku, sedangkan dalam pembuatan beton terdapat spesifikasi tertentu yang harus terpenuhi sehingga diupayakan agar tidak adanya sisa bahan baku saat proses produksi. Diperlukan optimasi produksi buis beton sesuai dengan sumber daya yang tersedia agar tidak terdapat sisa, digunakan model de novo programming kemudian diformulasikan ke dalam model linear programming dengan metode simpleks. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh jumlah masing-masing produk buis beton diantaranya buis beton tipe 20 sebanyak 216, buis beton tipe 30 sebanyak 238, buis beton tipe 40 sebanyak 142, buis beton tipe 50 sebanyak 130, buis beton tipe 60 sebanyak 112, buis beton tipe 80 sebanyak 125 dan buis beton tipe 100 sebanyak 150 dengan total keuntungan produksi pada bulan Maret 2021 yaitu Rp. 47.685.060,58. Penggunaan model de novo programming dapat mengoptimalkan bahan baku yang tersedia sehingga diharapkan mampu memenuhi spesifikasi produk buis beton yang telah ditetapkan dan keuntungan yang diperoleh maksimum.
This study examines the effect of scientific debate instructional on the enhancement of mathematical creative thinking ability of students.This study is quasi-experimental with a static group comparison design involves 94 students from Department of Mathematics Education. Research instruments include student’ prior knowledge of mathematics (KAM) and creative thinking ability test. Scores of the the enhancement of mathematical creative thinking ability were analyzed with normalized gain test. The Effect of Scientific Debate instructional and conventional instructional was used the Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis test. The study finds that the enhancement in mathematical creative thinking ability with scientific debate instructional was better than conventional. The enhancement of student’ mathematical creative thinking abilities with a scientific debate instructional based on the KAM, it is not completely distinctive. On the other hand, the enhancement of student’ mathematical creative thinking abilities with a conventional instruction based on the KAM was considerably different. On the scientific debate instructional, student’s educational background differences do not give major effect on the enhancement student’ mathematical creative thinking abilities but on the conventional instructional provides a better effect.
Abstract. In this study, predictions of food prices in Banten Province were carried out. This food data includes time series data, namely data collected within a certain period of time. Prediction for time series data uses various methods, one of which is Fuzzy Time Series which aims to predict the next period's time series data with the actual data of the previous period widely on real time data. There are several models in the fuzzy time series method including the Chen and Markov Chain models. Furthermore, to see the level of accuracy of the prediction results, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is used. The smaller the error value, the more accurate the prediction will be. The results showed that in some foodstuffs the Fuzzy Time Series Chen method had a better accuracy rate and there was one food ingredient with the Fuzzy Time Seies Markov Chain method which had a better accuracy level. Abstrak. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan prediksi harga bahan pangan di Provinsi Banten. Data bahan pangan ini termasuk data time series yaitu data yang dikumpulkan dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Prediksi untuk data time series menggunakan berbagai metode salah satunya yaitu Fuzzy Time Series yang bertujuan untuk memprediksi data time series periode berikutnya dengan data aktual periode sebelumnya secara luas pada data real time. Terdapat beberapa model pada metode fuzzy time series diantaranya yaitu model Chen dan Markov Chain. Selanjutnya, untuk melihat tingkat keakuratan dari hasil prediksi maka digunakan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Semakin kecil nilai error yang dihasilkan maka semakin akurat hasil dari prediksi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada beberapa bahan pangan Metode Fuzzy Time Series Chen memiliki tingkat akurasi lebih baik dan terdapat satu bahan pangan dengan metode Fuzzy Time Seies Markov Chain memiliki tingkat akurasi lebih baik.
