Infrared, 13 C NMR and natural abundance 17 0 NMR spectra were measured for a series of eleven glycidyl ethers. Three sufficiently sensitive spectral characteristics of the glycidyl group, i.e. the wave numbers of antisymmetric C-O-C stretching vibration, chemical shifts of the α-carbon atom and that of the acyclic oxygen atom gave statistically significant mutual correlations and correlations with inductive substituent constants.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
