Perioperative morbidity and mortality are usually related to patients' co-morbidities, or intraoperative events such as hypotension or massive bleeding. Identifying and analyzing such relationships may help improve surgical outcomes. Indicators that predict patients' safety may help anesthetists to manage patients well.
