The paper aimed to formalise the relationship between the level of Ukrainian energy efficiency from 30 indicators of social, ecological and economic development of the country. The main purpose of the study is to identify the impact and dependence of socio-ecological and economic indicators on the level of energy efficiency using multiple correlation-regression analysis. The systematisation of the analysed results allowed identifying the core directions to overcome the issues of the slow pace of energy efficiency improvement and the development of carbon neutrality of the country. The relevance of this scientific solution to the problem is that the level of energy efficiency is influenced by a large number of socio-ecological and economic factors sometimes independent of each other. The authors analysed the relationship between the level of energy efficiency and socio-ecological and economic indicators of country development. The investigation consisted from the following stages: conducting polynomial-regression analysis of energy efficiency development in Ukraine; development of correlation-regression multiple models of relationships between energy efficiency indicator and socio-ecological-economic indicators; explaining the conclusions and providing recommendations considering the findings. The object of the study was the processes of energy efficiency relationships with 30 indicators of socio-ecological and economic development, namely how much they affect the energy development of the country. The conclusions were theoretical and practical in terms of the impact on the level of energy efficiency of interdisciplinary indicators. The conclusions which proved by the empirical findings allowed identifying weaknesses in the development of the national economy, as well as to improve and increase the energy potential of the country through energy efficiency development strategies due to the studied determinants that have a strong impact on the level of energy efficiency. Keywords: energy efficiency, carbon-free economy, sustainable development, energy sector, green energy, energy security.
This article summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discussion on the laws of developing the theory of energy efficiency management of the national economy. The study’s primary purpose is to develop theoretical and methodological tools for analyzing the patterns of development of the theory of energy efficiency management of the national economy. Systematization of literature sources and approaches to solving the problem of developing the idea of energy efficiency management of the national economy has shown a need to update state energy policies, strategies, regulatory and legal support for the energy sector’s functioning. The urgency of solving this scientific problem is to intensify research on the development of the national economy’s energy efficiency management theory. The research on the laws of development of the theory of energy efficiency management of the national economy in the article is carried out in the following logical sequence: the systematization of literature sources and approaches to study the theory of energy efficiency management of the national economy, bibliometric and trend analysis to further identify basic theoretical principles and stages of energy management theory, the efficiency of the national economy. Methodological tools of the study were methods of logical generalization, comparative analysis and trend and bibliometric analysis – to identify patterns in developing the theory of energy efficiency of the national economy; the study period was chosen from 2000 to 2020. VOSViewer v.1.6.10 toolkit was used for bibliometric analysis, Google Trends for trend analysis. The object of the study is a sample of 48,888 publications and 21,725 search queries for the keywords like energy policy, energy efficiency, sustainable development based on scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, as well as Google Trends tools. The article presents the results of trend and bibliometric analysis of the development of energy efficiency management theory of the national economy, which showed that today the relevance and interest in the development of energy efficiency of the national economy is only gaining momentum, primarily due to the transition to a new stage of carbon neutral development.
Recently, the topic of carbon neutrality has been gaining momentum. Such trends are mainly related to the adoption of important global agreements, such as the European Green Deal, as well as the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Such trends have a positive effect on countries, but in such situations, states must quickly respond to the challenges and needs of the world and have an understanding of how to respond to these trends. To date, there are many ratings that can be used to form a portrait of a country (investment, social, environmental, etc.), but currently the rating of the green brand of a country is becoming more relevant. There are problems regarding its improvement and filling, yet this is a new evaluation of a country for this period of time. It is relevant today to study the nature and architecture of the concept of a green brand, as well as the search for the main determinants of its impact. The purpose of the article is to analyse publications in order to identify patterns in the development of the green brand and the social responsibility of business. The article provides a bibliometric analysis of research in the field of green branding and corporate social and environmental responsibility. The authors selected more than 10,000 works published in 2000–2021 indexed by the scientometric databases Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. Using VOSviewer, the results of the bibliometric analysis were visualized on the definition map. This made it possible to identify seven clusters that combine 58 terms. As a result of the research, using the constructed bibliographic map, the connection between the terms ‘green brand’ and ‘corporate social responsibility’ was revealed.
The industry attention to the environment has been reducing lately, leading to irreversible climate change, reaching the limit of mining, and critical indicators of СО2 emissions. That is why the EU has launched a new Green Policy which includes strategic directions for energy efficiency and which is expected to restore biodiversity and slow down the pace of climate change. Thus, on December 11, 2019, there was held the presentation of the “European Green Course”, the main targets of which are to increase the level of energy saving by creating closed cycles in the economy; to minimize greenhouse gas emissions by 2050; to form biodiversity and climate neutrality. Accordingly, countries that accept the terms of the green deal policy need to review all aspects of their economy, from energy production to food consumption, from industry to transport and construction. The purpose of the article is to analyse publications in order to identify public’s awareness of radical changes in economic and ecological spheres. The article provides a bibliometric analysis of research in the field of green deal policy, energy conservation and energy efficiency through the introduction of renewable energy sources. The authors selected 337 papers which were published in 1999-2019. Scopus provided the database for analysis. By means of VOSviewer the results of bibliometric analyses were visualized in a definitions map. It allowed identifying six clusters that combine 131 terms. As a result of the research, the connection between the terms – renewable energy sources and energy saving – was revealed with the help of the constructed bibliographic map.
The article summarizes the arguments and counter-arguments within the scientific discussion on improving the HR management system in medical centers through HR policy tools. The study’s main purpose is to form proposals and focus on the prospects for the development of HR management in medical institutions. Systematization of learned treatises and approaches on the development of HR management systems showed problems in HR management’s current methods and systems. The urgency of solving this scientific problem is that the improvement of HR policy could effectively form and modernize medical organizations’ personnel management systems. The study of improving the HR management system in medical centers was carried out in the following logical sequence: considering the basics of personnel management in the private organizations; studying the methods and current trends in personnel management; analyzing the current system of HR management and personnel management on the example of medical institutions of Ukraine; developing recommendations for improving the HR policy of medical centers have been formed considering the obtained results. The methodological tools of the study were the methods of comparison, the BSC system of Kaplan and Norton, the fundamental provisions of personnel management, the calculation method and the method of data analysis, and the Gantt chart. The object of the study is the HR policy of medical institutions in Ukraine. The article presents the empirical analysis results based on the identified problems of organizing a personnel management system. The essence and features of the HR policy of medical centers were determined. In the study, the authors considered the state of medical centers’ staffing and HR management methods in health care. To investigate the organizational structure and personnel in the current situation of HR management of medical centers, the analysis of personnel and financial indicators was conducted. The findings showed the deficiencies in the personnel document management and HR management system of medical centers and the reasons for staff turnover. The comparison method, Kaplan and Norton’s BSC system, Gantt chart, calculation, and data analysis allowed identifying the ways to improve the existing HR management system in organizations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
