Background:Transformation of health care is underway from sellers’ market to consumers’ market, where the satisfaction of the patients’ need is a primary concern while defining the service quality. Hence, commitment to provide a high-quality service and achieving patients’ satisfaction becomes an important issue for dental health care provider. The aim of this research is to investigate the quality of dental health care service based on empathy and responsiveness aspects.Methods:A total of 90 questionnaires were completed by the dental patients who came to dental polyclinic located in Government Hospital, West Java, Indonesia. The questionnaire was concerned on two dimensions of service quality model, i.e. empathy and responsiveness. The obtained data were analyzed using inferential statistics (t test) and also descriptive statistics with importance–performance analysis.Results:All the attributes tested by t test showed that perception and expectation differed significantly, except for responsiveness, i.e. ability of dental assistants in assisting the dentist (t test 0.505
The eco-tourism area of the southern coast of West Java is the focus of research since the area is less well known as a tourist destination. Also, there is a reluctance of tourists to visit again, and tourists find ordinary. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence model of travel motivation and impressive tourism experience towards the destination image. The method used is verification analysis by using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The survey conducted on 302 respondents, i.e., tourists who visited the eco-tourism area of the southern coast of West Java. The results showed the motivation of travel and tourism experience significantly influence the image of tourism destinations. Tourism area managers need to design strategies to improve the image of the region by providing tourist stimulation in the form of exciting information and offers eco-tourism products-themed for tourist with a memorable approach to traveling experiences.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v17i2.7211
The risk of virus contracting during the COVID-19 pandemic has changed consumer preference for online shopping to meet their daily needs than shopping in brick-and-mortar stores. Online shopping presents a different environment, atmosphere, and experience. The possibility of ethical violations is higher during online than face-to-face transactions. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the influence of perceived health risk and customer perception of online retail ethics on consumer online shopping behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic, involving seven variables, namely perceived health risk, security, privacy, non-deception, reliability fulfillment, service recovery, and online shopping behavior. The data were collected through an online survey by employing the purposive sampling technique to a consumer who has shopped online during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. 315 valid responses were obtained and analyzed through quantitative method using SEM-Amos. The results showed that perceived health risk and four variables of online retail ethics including security, privacy, reliability fulfillment, and service recovery affected online shopping behavior. Meanwhile, non-deception was found to have an insignificant effect. The coefficient value proved perceived health risk to be more dominant in influencing online shopping behavior than the variables of online retail ethics. Thus, consumers pay more concern for their health during online shopping. However, positive consumer perceptions of the behavior of online retail websites in providing services also can encourage consumers to shop online during this pandemic.
Research on marketing performance has been discussed by several previous researchers on institutions and industries. One of them is in the field of education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of brand image toward marketing performance, brand image on trust and brand image toward marketing performance mediated by trust. In previous studies there have been many studies that measure marketing performance from internal or management perspective. On the other hand, this research discusses marketing performance that can be measured through the perspective of the student as consumer. This research studies the marketing performance of private higher education in the perspective of students in the Indonesian context. This research was conducted in DKI Jakarta. In this study it was found that there was not a significant influence on brand image toward marketing performance; brand image has a significant influence on trust and also trust towards marketing performance; but brand image has a significant influence toward marketing performance mediated by trust.
