Desa Rejasa Kabupaten Tabanan memiliki luas desa 2,44 km2. Desa Rejasa ini merupakan desa yang berkembang di bidang pertanian serta terdapat penangkaran ikan lele. Namun, ibu rumah tangga serta masyarakat Desa Rejasa belum mengetahui pemanfaatan pengolahan sampah organik dan anorganik, Oleh karena itu penting untuk menyadarkan kepedulian warga agar tidak sembarangan dalam membuang sampah serta mengedukasi terkait pengolahan sampah. Berawal dari permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui edukasi pentingnya menjaga kebersihan desa, memilah sampah organik dan anorganik serta memanfaatkan olahan sampah tersebut sehingga memiliki nilai tambah. Bentuk nyata kegiatan ini berupa memberi fasilitas tempat sampah yang terpilah dan memberi pupuk kompos organik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah mengedukasi melalui tahapan sosialisasi, perijinan, persiapan,pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM yang dilaksanakan tanggal 20 Januari 2022 adalah pedulinya masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan, meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pemilahan sampah serta pengetahuan untuk memanfaatkan sampah. Selain itu masyarakat Desa Rejasa dapat mengetahui manfaat sampah dengan cara 3R Reduce, Reuse, and Recyle. Kegiatan PkM ini memberikan dampak positif karena hasil monitor dan evaluasi terbukti lingkungan menjadi bersih dan masyarakat telah berhasil mengolah sampah yang ada. Rejasa Village, Tabanan Regency, has a village area of 2.44 km2. Rejasa Village is a village developing in agriculture, and there is a catfish farm. However, homemakers and the people of Rejasa Village do not know about the use of organic and inorganic waste processing. Therefore, it is important to raise residents' awareness so that they are not careless in disposing of waste and educate them about waste management. Starting from these problems, this community service activity aims to provide solutions through education on the importance of maintaining village cleanliness, sorting organic and inorganic waste and utilizing processed waste so that it has added value. The tangible form of this activity is to provide facilities for segregated trash bins and provide organic compost. The method used in this community service activity is to educate through the stages of socialization, licensing, preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the service activities carried out on Thursday, January 20, 2022, showed the public's concern for maintaining cleanliness, increasing public understanding of waste sorting and knowledge of utilizing waste. In addition, the people of Rejasa Village can find out the benefits of waste through 3R Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The implication is very positive because the monitoring and evaluation results prove that the environment is clean and the community has succeeded in processing the existing waste.
