Introduction: Depression is one of the psychiatric problems experienced by the elderly and can reduce the quality of life of the elderly. Elderly with depression will have low self-esteem. Low self-esteem results in withdrawal from new activities. Depression in the elderly is higher in the elderly who live in nursing homes compared to the elderly who live in the community and psychological interventions are still low to overcome depression and increase the self-esteem of the elderly. This study aims to determine the effect of life review therapy on increasing the self-esteem of elderly people with depression in the Social Welfare Section of the Padu Wau Maumere Elderly Social Welfare. Method: The type of research used is a quasi experiment with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The number of samples is 36 people, using consecutive sampling. The instruments used in this study were the short questionnaire Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) with 15 questions in the Indonesian version to measure depression in the elderly and the Rosenberg-Self Esteem questionnaire to measure self-esteem with 10 questions in the Indonesian version. The life review therapy intervention was given in 4 sessions, namely the experiences of childhood, adolescence, adulthood and the elderly. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that before being given life review therapy most of the respondents experienced moderate depression as much as 83.3% and most of them experienced low self-esteem as much as 83.3%. after being given life review therapy the results showed that most respondents experienced no depression as much as 72.2% and most experienced high self-esteem as much as 61.1%. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that there was an effect of life review therapy on increasing the self-esteem of the elderly with depression as evidenced by the p value (0.000) <α (0.05) so that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant effect of life review therapy in increasing the self-esteem of the elderly with depression in the Social Welfare Section of the Padu Wau Maumere Elderly Social Welfare. The results of this study imply the importance of providing psychosocial therapy for the elderly who experience depression so that it can have an impact on increasing the self-esteem and quality of life of the elderly. Lansia merupakan tahap lanjut dari suatu proses kehidupan yang terjadi secara alamiah. Tingginya stresor dan peristiwa kehidupan yang tidak menyenangkan dapat menimbulkan masalah psikologis, salah satu diantaranya adalah depresi. Depresi pada lansia lebih tinggi terjadi pada lansia yang hidup di panti jompo dibandingkan dengan lansia yang hidup di komunitas dan masih rendahnya intervensi psikologis untuk mengatasi depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi life review terhadap penurunan depresi pada lansia di Seksi Kesejahteraan Penyantunan Sosial Lanjut Usia Padu Wau Maumere. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi experiment dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre post test. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 orang, dengan menggunakan consecutive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner pendek Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) dengan 15 pertanyaan dalam versi Indonesia untuk mengukur depresi pada lansia. Intervensi terapi life review diberikan sebanyak 4 sesi yakni pengalaman masa anak-anak, masa remaja, masa dewasa dan masa lansia. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terapi life review terhadap penurunan depresi lansia dibuktikan dengan nilai p value (0.000) < α (0.05). Terapi life review berhasil dalam menurunkan depresi pada lansia.
Beberapa ibu postpartum mengalami kesulitan dalam memproduksi ASI, volume ASI sedikit bahkan tidak keluar. Hal tersebut sering dialami oleh ibu-ibu primipara. Ibu primipara cenderung stress dan cemas karena kesulitan dalam proses adaptasi menjadi seorang ibu pertama kali dialami. Stress dan cemas pada ibu dapat mempengaruhi produksi oxytocin yang berdampak pada penurunan volume ASI. Therapy Hypno-breastfeeding dan Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) merupakan upaya yang dipadukan sebagai strategi cepat memulihkan berat badan pada bayi berat lahir rendah. Tujuan dilakukan kombinasi kedua terapi ini adalah agar mampu membantu meningkatkan volume Air Susu Ibu pada ibu primipara dan ASI Eksklusif terjadi secara maksimal demi pemulihan Berat Badan pada Bayi Berat Lahir Rendah (BBLR) dapat terjadi dengan cepat. Metode Penelitian menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pre Test dan Post Test design dengan mengukur produksi volume air dan peningkatan berat badan pada Bayi Berat Lahir Rendah (BBLR). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 1 kelompok ibu primipara dengan bayi BBLR. Kelompok intervensi diberikan therapy hypno-breastfeeding pada Ibu dan Kangaroo Mother Care untuk ibu dan bayi. Penilaian pada kelompok intervensi dilakukan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan melalui hasil analisis paired sampel T-Test diketahui nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 artinya ada pengaruh terapi hypno-breastfeeding dan kangaroo mother care terhadap berat badan bayi dengan berat lahir rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Pemberian terapi hypno-breastfeeding dan kangaroo mother care terbukti memberi pengaruh terhadap peningkatan volume air susu pada ibu yang berdampak pada peningkatan berat badan bayi dengan berat lahir rendah secara signifikan.
The Covid -19 outbreak brought global tensions because the transmission process was so fast that it caused health workers to experience psychological problems. Long-term psychological disorders lead to weakened social relationships, mental health problems, local and economic dynamics. Purpose Review of studies on the psychological stress of health workers caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The method of searching for data using PubMed was carried out with the keywords COVID-19", "mental health", "stress", "health workers", "staff". Quantitative studies (including letters to editors) were published from January 2019 to March 2020. The quality of articles was analyzed by PRISMA and the Critical Ability Assessment Program (CASP). The results of 5 studies found that psychological disorders occurred in the covid ward, internal medicine, and other departmental wards such as symptoms of depression, anxiety, insomnia to fear. There are various questionnaires used. The sample size ranged between 80 and 2,299 participants. The severity of mental symptoms was influenced by age, working hours, occupation, and proximity to COVID-19 patients. Seeing the high frequency of psychological disorders that occur in health workers, it is necessary to provide psychological support and health education to facilitate coping for health workers.
