A rectangle waveguide four-way divider is investigated to realize the wideband and miniaturization design. The proposed four-way divider is cascaded by 2 order dividers. By selecting proper divider models and analyzing the parametric sweep, the four-way divider is of superior characteristic and compact structure compared with a normal divider, such as sufficient suppression of reflection, desired ratio of power division and proper transmission phase to the output ports. The optimum results show that VSWR of input port is below 1.2, the power division imbalance of 4 output ports is less than 0.1dB, and phase imbalance is under 1.4 degree from 8.9GHz to 10.3GHz.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
