The use of media, especially in learning Arabic in Indonesia has been proven to be significant. Many studies prioritize the use of certain media in the learning process so that it can overcome the problems of learning Arabic. This descriptive qualitative study discusses the use of interactive multimedia in learning Arabic at IAIN Palangka Raya. This study aims to explore interactive multimedia used by PBA lecturers to overcome the problems of learning Arabic. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are: first, in terms of time and place of implementation, namely IAIN Palangka Raya e-learning, Arabic online and Bahasaarab312.gnomio.com. Second, viewed from the materials being taught, multimedia PowerPoint was used which included cartoon story maker media, Arabic Online, camtasia, active presenter, e-book learning, YouTube, kine master, pollagon, Arabee. Third, seen from the needs of students, Macromedia / Adobe Flash was relevant. The Arabic learning problems that can be overcome with the use of interactive multimedia are as follows. 1) In terms of linguistics, using interactive multimedia, lecturers become easier in demonstrating teaching or learning materials to 2) in terms of practical (non-linguistic) using multimedia interactive, PBA lecturers can attract the students ‘interests and attention who lack of motivation in learning Arabic.
The Covid-19 pandemic which began to plague Indonesia in March 2020 had a major impact on academic activities in higher education, including at IAIN Palangka Raya. This situation requires the lecturers to find ways to adapt to new conditions and reduce the risk of virus transmission. This study is a descriptive-qualitative research that aims to uncover the learning process of MahÄrah IstimÄ’ using WhatsApp Group media seen from the learning objectives, materials, strategies, and evaluation. The subject of this research is lecturers of Arabic Education (PBA) at IAIN Palangka Raya who teach the MahÄrah IstimÄ’ course. Data of the research was collected from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the learning process of MahÄrah IstimÄ’ during the Covid-19 pandemic could run optimally in terms of the learning objectives, materials, strategies, and evaluation. The objectives of MahÄrah IstimÄ’ learning are to understand, develop, interact, observe, conclude, and classify information. The learning materials used can be in the form of discourses, conversations, songs, guessing games, or chain messages using audio that is played through the voice note feature on the WhatsApp application. The strategies used include: (1) listen and then say, (2) listen and then answer, (3) listen and then identify, and (4) listen and then refine. The evaluations meant here involve daily evaluations for each assignment and summative evaluations, i.e. the midterm exam and the final exam.
This study was used to determine the effect of social competence and the ability to compile learning devices on pedagogical and professional competencies of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program. This research leads to the problem of social competence towards pedagogic and professional competence, the ability to develop learning tools towards pedagogic and professional competence. This type of research is associative quantitative. The research was carried out in high school / vocational high school as a place for students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Muhammadiyah University Purworejo 2019/2020. The sample used in this study was 32 students. The method of data collection uses documentation of the value of apprenticeship 1, 2 and 3. Data processing techniques use product moment correlation test and simple regression analysis. As a prerequisite test, normality and homogeneity tests were performed. For the requirements analysis, a significance test and linearity test were performed. The results of this study are (1) there is a positive and significant influence between social competencies on pedagogical and professional competencies; (2) there is a positive and significant influence between the ability to compile learning devices on pedagogical and professional competence. AbstrakPenelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kompetensi sosial dan kemampuan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Penelitian ini mengarah kepada permasalahan kompetensi sosial terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional, kemampuan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif asosiatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA/SMK sebagai tempat Magang Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo 2019/2020. Sampel yang digunakan penelitian sejumlah 32 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dari nilai magang 1, 2 dan 3. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi sederhana. Sebagai uji prasyarat dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Untuk persyaratan analisis dilakukan uji keberartian dan uji linearitas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi sosial terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional; (2) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional.
The phenomenon of differences in Qur’anic reading based on seven qira’ah is one of the internalising factors of the Quraa Ulama with geographical backgrounds and languages diversity which are generated in a unified sociolinguistic discipline. The diversity in qira’ah raises its own problems and attracts observers of Arabic who criticize each other. One of them is in the aspect of reading variety of Surah Al-fatihah. This study aims to analyze and describe the views of the previous Al-Lughah Ulama on the differences in qira’ah sab'ah in Surah Al-Fathihah. In its implementation, the researcher used qualitative approach with content analysis, while the data collection techniques were carried out through primary data sources related to qira'ah sab'ah and Sociolinguistics. The results showed that the formation of two rational views of Ulama Al-lughah; manhaj Mutasahhil (tolerant) and manhaj Mutasyaddid (extreme) in response to the variety in reading of qira’ah sab'ah in Surah Alfathihah found on the fourth, sixth, and seventh verses. But Manhaj Mutasyddid put more emphasis on the seventh verse (إهدنا الصراط المستقيم) with the letter "Shad" as a language that is covenient and fusha compared to reading with the letter "Sa".
