Вперше проведено порівняльний аналіз трактування феномену вторинної номінації вітчизняними та іноземними вченими та простежено різницю у застосуванні термінів на позначення цього явища. З'ясовано, що на лексико-семантичному рівні вторинна номінація є як процесом, так і результатом надання об'єктові ще однієї назви з іншою мотивованістю. Зазначено, що семантичний ракурс розгляду вторинної номінації заснований на зсуві сем. Вказано способи формування нових вторинних номенів. Проаналізовано вираження вторинної номінації на граматичному рівні. Пояснено різні види цього феномену та описано їхні функції у речені / тексті / дискурсі. На стилістичному рівні охарактеризовано такі засоби вторинної номінації як стилістична анафора, метафора, метонімія, перифраз та їхні різновиди. Підвиди метафори проілюстровано прикладами з французької мови. Здійснено детальний аналіз функцій стилістичних вторинних номенів. Описано прагматичний та когнітивний аспекти функціонування вторинних номенів у мові. Ключові слова: вторинна номінація, вторинний номен, анафора, метафора, перифраз. Отмечено, что семантический ракурс рассмотрения вторичной номинации основанный на сдвиге сем. Указаны способы формирования новых вторичных номенов. Проанализированы выражение вторичной номинации на грамматическом уровне. Объяснено различные виды этого феномена и описаны их функции в предложении / тексте / дискурсе. На стилистическом уровне охарактеризованы такие средства вторичной номинации как стилистическая анафора, метафора, метонимия, перифраз и их разновидности. Подвиды метафоры проиллюстрировано примерами из французского языка. Осуществлен подробный анализ функций стилистических вторичных номенов. Описаны прагматичный и когнитивный аспекты функционирования вторичных номенов в языке.
The article is devoted to the verbal presentation, stylistic characteristics and types of periphrasis and analysis of its use in fiction. Periphrasis is situated precisely within the framework of both linguistic and socio-cultural phenomena, which, while retaining their main characteristics, experience cultural and social influences, reflecting the development of human perceptions, expectations and instincts. Complexity of semantic structure of periphrasis, thanks to which the speech becomes richer and much more interesting, always attracts the attention of linguists. Periphrasis is a dynamic and interesting stylistic figure that gives a descriptive representation of objects, phenomena or people rather than their direct names. Periphrasis is semantically loaded and conveys not only the information message, but also its emotionally expressive and evaluative characteristics. This stylistic figure is used in fiction and by its types and functions it is close to euphemisms, metaphors, antiphrasis, and neologisms. Theoretical information about this artistic method is illustrated with examples from the texts of French authors of the period of preciosity. Periphrastic description served precious authors to «code» their works so that they became inaccessible to everyone. The article also presents the attempt to classify the periphrases used by precious authors according to semantic categories and to their role in the text, which helps to «put order» in the figurative lexicon of the precious and prove the seriousness of the precious language. In addition, the periphrasis is considered not only as a linguistic phenomenon, but also as the one of general culture.
The research deals with the essence of text-forming aspects of structural types of secondary nomination in French poetic texts. The aesthetic directions of development of French culture of the XVII century are described. It is assumed that in the French literature of the period of Preciosity in the basis of secondary nominative activity rest cognitive mechanisms of knowledge of contemporary realities and their styling in art speech of the authors of the mentioned times. For the disclosure of cognitive-pragmatic mechanisms of secondary nomens to denote objects of reality, displayed in French precious literature, a comprehensive methodology has been developed that was proved effective in determination of structural-semantic types of secondary nomination with their varieties and performance in the works of Pierre de Marbeuf, Vincent Voiture, Claude de Malleville, Madeleine de Scudéry. A new criterion for the typification of secondary units according to their belonging to the grammatical or lexical-semantic level of the language has been proposed. Structural types of secondary nomination (grammatical anaphora) relate to the grammatical process of repetition of a word, phrase, or syntagm using a secondary nomen (anaphora). Pronoun, noun, adjectival, adverbial, verbal (simple, complex) and propositional structural types of secondary nomens are traced out. They are classified into such kinds as exact, inexact, conceptual, divergent, associative and zero ones. The semantic types of the secondary nomination are united by the common principle of creation: associative thinking and expressive-figurative content. Among them stand out the stylistic anaphora, metaphor (announced/explicit, direct/pure, developed, proportional, dead, contextual), metonymy and periphrasis.A lexical analysis of specific types of secondary nouns, such as nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verb anaphors and their varieties in the poetry of the brightest representatives of the Precision period is also presented. The functions and purpose of the use of the studied means by the mentioned authors are clarified.
The article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the study of anaphoric processes based on the material of French-language discourse. Explications of the concept of anaphora by Ukrainian and foreign linguists are interpreted. The newest methodological principles of comprehensive analysis of anaphoric units in French discourse, namely the combination of linguistic and literary methods, have been further developed. It was revealed that the study of anaphoric elements is not limited to the classical problem of repetition, it must be considered in a communicative aspect. In the framework of the cognitive-communicative process, the method of discourse analysis is described. It is proved that in the process of studying the anaphoric nomination of linguistic analysis is not enough, it is necessary to appeal to the discursive context and discursive memory. The cognitive operations that the speaker performs on anaphoric nomens in his own discourse are defined. The pragmatic and functional aspects of the anaphora phenomenon, which are the subject of the study of interactionist linguistics, are considered. The paper states that in the cognitive-pragmatic aspect the anaphoric nomination performs important functions within the framework of the connectivity of the discourse. This phenomenon is broad, which can be presented not only explicitly but also implicitly, that is, the reader himself has to guess what is said in the text, based on his own experience, knowledge and associations. Anaphora can correspond both to the communicative and cognitive requirements, because it not only captures the fragments of the knowledge and experience of the speaker, but also gives him a certain form in accordance with the communicative plan and the pragmatic intentions of the speaker. The article contributes to further systematization of anaphoric means of language, characterized by expressive and informative potential. Consideration of the features of functioning of anaphoric nomens as the structure components of the French-languagediscourse can contribute to the further study of the semantic-stylistic organization of discourse in general.
