Pisarenko AXIOLOGICAL VALUES OF THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED AS A RESOURCE FOR THEIR SOCIAL REHABILITATIONThe article covers the outcomes of a theoretical and an empirical study of the relationship between the axiological values of visually impaired people and the degree of their social rehabilitation. The author presents the results of the research on the correlation between the system of values and attitudes of both congenitally blind and late-blind individuals, and the indicators of their social rehabilitation. The study reveals the differences in the psychological characteristics of life orientations and personal attitudes in situations of communication and locus of control in visually impaired people, mediated by biosocial and other factors (gender, degree of visual impairment, time of vision loss).
