Pregnancy and childbirth are physiological processes that every woman will go through. The intensity of pain experienced by women during labor varies, but it can be exacerbated by fear, tension, and anxiety. Hypnosis techniques have been proposed as a means of overcoming anxiety and fear. Compared to women who receive relaxation training or supportive counselling, hypnosis reduces pain intensity, shortens delivery time, and reduces the number of women who stay in the hospital for more than two days after their baby is born. Yoga during pregnancy, like hypnosis, has been shown to reduce pain intensity during the first stage of labor. This research aimed to see how prenatal hypnosis and prenatal yoga affected labor pain in women giving birth at the Independent Practice of Midwife Meli Rosita Palembang. This study employs an experimental research design with a Static Group Comparison strategy. The sample in this study consisted of 60 pregnant women divided into two groups: those who received hypnosis and prenatal yoga interventions and those who did not. Questionnaires, checklists, and tutorials on implementing prenatal hypnosis and prenatal yoga were used as instruments. Prenatal hypnosis and prenatal yoga significantly affected labor pain in Maternal Maternity at Meli Rosita's Independent Midwife Practice (p-value 0.000). The intervention group had a pain scale average of 2.70, while the control group had a pain scale average of 4.33. As a result, a combination of prenatal hypnosis and prenatal yoga can alleviate labor pain.
Mother's milk's nutritional content shields the infant's immune system, allowing for healthy growth and development. Because breastfeeding has positive health effects for both mother and child, it is strongly advised during the early stages of pregnancy. The truth of the matter is that a lot of mothers still struggle to exclusively breastfeed their children for the whole six months. Hypnobreastfeeding and lactation massage are two strategies that can help people who want to exclusively breastfeed get past their obstacles. This study sought to ascertain the impact of lactation massage and hypnobreastfeeding on breastfeeding mothers' ability to produce milk in the independent Palembang midwife's practice. The design of this study was a quasy experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design technique in which 60 postpartum mothers were divided into two groups. The intervention group (n = 30) underwent hypnobreastfeeding and lactation massage as a sort of therapy and continued with measurements of breast milk and the control group (n = 30) did not receive any treatment or intervention. Questionnaires, checklists, guides for using hypnobreastfeeding and lactation massage, as well as breast pumps to measure milk supply, were the devices employed. With asymptotic statistical values, the results demonstrated that the delivery of hypnobreastfeeding therapy and lactation massage in the intervention group compared to the control group had a significant impact on milk production. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001, and the average increase in milk production between the intervention group and the control group was 25.03 ml compared to 8.56 ml.
Background: The development stimulation and developmental abnormalities of children are discussed today as more and more cases are finds are found in all groups.
Anemia in pregnancy is currently still a major problem experienced by almost half of pregnant women in all countries in the world, including Indonesia. Anemia in pregnancy is a national problem because it reflects the value of socio-economic welfare of the community, and has a huge influence on the quality of human resources. The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator of the success of health services. In 2014 the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world was 289,000 soul. Several countries have quite high MMR, such as Africa with 179,000 people, South Asia with 69,000 people (WHO, 2014). The aim of the study was to determine the effect of husband's support on the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Rumbai Health Center in Pekanbaru City in 2017. The research method was analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was 67 third trimester pregnant women in April - November 2017 using accidental sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi square test. The results showed that 79.1% of the respondents were not at risk (20-35 years), 56.7% parity of respondents namely multiparas of 80.6% of respondents showed 56.7% of husbands providing support to pregnant women. And the results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between husband's support and the incidence of anemia in pregnancy with a value (p = 0.032). From the research results it is hoped that the Puskesmas, especially health workers, can improve health education programs, especially regarding the importance of husband's support to prevent anemia in pregnant women.
