While polyamide denture material produced good fracture resistance, its modulus is not yet sufficiently high to be equal to standard PMMA materials. Clinical Implications. Polyamide has some attractive advantages, but will require modification to produce consistently better properties than current PMMA materials.
Within the limitations of this in vitro study, it can be concluded that LCM seems to be a promising technique for final ceramic object manufacturing in dental applications. Both the manufacturing method and the material used should be improved.
