The (Ne + H 2 ) plasma in a hollow cathode glow discharge has been investigated. A theoretical description of (Ne + H 2 ) plasma has been made by considering the main elementary processes including the vibrational kinetics. Based on the results obtained from the model an emission method has been developed for H − concentration measurement. The results obtained by this emission method are compared with those obtained by the photodetachment method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
