This article presents design of TEM‐horn with nonuniform law of wave resistance variation along longitudinal axis, in aperture of which an artificial dielectric lens is located. Characteristics of developed antenna in ultra wide frequency band, obtained during mathematical modeling and confirmed by results of experimental study, are presented.
In this article was studied a way to minimize the overall dimensions of a multiband antenna system operating in a number of ultra‐wideband frequency bands using the quasi‐fractal construction principle. The results of an experimental study of the designed antenna element, which is a set of asymmetrical self‐similar TEM‐rupors nested into each other, are presented.
A mathematical model for analysis of metal-dielectric structures with various profile of grating grooves was designed. Model is based on combined use of integral equations methods and generalized scattering matrices. Created and studied a prototype of planar diffraction antenna with periodic metal-dielectric structures in its construction.
AbstractA 325 GHz power detector integrated with a microstrip patch antenna is fabricated using 65-nm CMOS technology. Measurements on the detector pixel show responsivity of 41.2 V/W and noise equivalent power of 36.8 pW/Hz 0.5 . Two breakout circuits including a detector block and a patch antenna are additionally tested to understand the pixel performance. This analytical procedure should yield more accurate future detector pixel designs. Design of a broadband antenna array with a distribution system based on radial waveguide with absorbing elements is presented. Dependence of the array main characteristics on the design parameters is studied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
