This study aims to determine the potential of carbon stocks based on necromass decomposition in the Hutan Larangan Adat Kenagarian Rumbio Kampar District. The research was conducted from January to March 2020, using the survey method. The selection of the location of the observation station was carried out by purposive random sampling based on 3 conditions of vegetation conditions, namely dense, medium and tenuous. At each station, 10 plots measuring 20x20 meters were made for measuring tree necromass and subplots measuring 1x1 meter long for measuring litter necromass. The results showed that the potential necromass carbon stock in the Kenagarian Rumbio Prohibition Forest was 8.27 tons/ha for tree necromass and 0,13 tons/ha for necromass litter.
This research was conducted to determine the effect of mung bean extract on the quality of Nata de cassava and poster design of biotechnology subject matter at the XII grade high school level in June-August 2020. This research was conducted in 2 stages, namely the experimental stage: the effect of giving mung bean extract to the quality of Nata de Cassava and the second stage of poster design: analysis of the potential development of biotechnology teaching materials for class XII high school level. This study used an experimental method by conducting experiments at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Pekanbaru. Sampling was carried out with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The parameters in this study were thickness analysis and acidity (pH) analysis. Based on the results of the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at the 5% level, giving green bean extract showed a significant effect on the quality of Nata de cassava. Giving green bean extract of 600 ml gives an increase in the quality of the best Nata de cassava and based on the analysis of the potential research results can be used as a poster design for class XII high school level biotechnology material.
Pandemi Covid-19 yang kini mulai mereda menyebabkan pemerintah mengizinkan beberapa wilayah untuk membuka kembali kegiatan tatap muka walaupun secara terbatas, salah satunya di SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar. Materi dari sistem gerak sebelum pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas menurut guru memiliki kesulitan tersendiri pada mekanisme bioproses seperti proses osifikasi pada tulang dan mekanisme kontraksi serta relaksasi otot. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan permasalahan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada materi sistem gerak di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 44 siswa. Hasil belajar nilai ulangan harian materi sistem gerak di kelas XI MIPA pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas, siswa yang tuntassebesar 42% dan siswa yang belum tuntas sebesar 58%.Permasalahan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar dapat dikategori sedang, artinya cukup menimbulkan permasalahan belajar. Adapun indikator permasalahannya yaitu lingkungan belajar sekolah, motivasi siswa, dan durasi belajar dalam kelas.
