Tobacco doesn’t just negatively impact the health of individuals, it also endangers the health of the environment. Therefore, efforts to reduce the consumption of tobacco cigarettes must continue to be strengthened. This study tries to find out after the Covid-19 pandemic spread in Indonesia, has the number of Active Smokers decreased or increased? The purpose of this study is to explain the increase or decrease in the number of Active Smokers after the Covid-19 pandemic spread in Indonesia. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The data used are Susenas March 2019 data and Susenas March 2020 data. This study concludes that after the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, namely in March 2020, the number of Active Smokers increased by 0.28% or 162,656 people. The increase in the number of Active Smokers consisted of an increase in the number of Light Smokers by 0.62% or 147,380 people, an increase in the number of Medium Smokers by 1.50% or 434,937 people, and a decrease in the number of Heavy Smokers by -9.67% or -419,661 people. This study recommends that all stakeholders take the momentum of the Covid-19 pandemic to strengthen efforts to reduce the number of Active Smokers and/or reduce cigarette consumption in Indonesia.
This study aims to find out how the development of household sanitation in Indonesia from 2010 to 2018. This study uses a descriptive analysis method using secondary data in the form of 2010 and 2018 SUSENAS compiled by BPS Indonesia and processed using Stata 2014 software. The development of household sanitation is proxied by the development of defecation facilities in households in Indonesia in 2010-2018. The result of the study is that the development of sanitation in Indonesia in the period of 2010-2018 is improving. This study concludes that the development of household sanitation in Indonesia from 2010 to 2018 is improving. This study recommends that the government strengthen its efforts in improving sanitation in Indonesia because in 2018 there are still 6,985,572 households that do not have defecation facilities so that they do open defecation which has a bad impact on environmental health.
This research is conducted to know and explain the trend of effectivity of CfB distribution in period of 2010-2014 in Maluku Province and Maluku Utara Province. The research show that the trend of effectivity of CfB distribution in period of 2010-2014 in Maluku Province was decreasing that is the mistargeted ratio in 2014 as 1,57% was higher than the mistargeted ratio in 2010 as 0,00% and the trend of effectivity of CfB distribution in period of 2010-2014 in Maluku Utara Province was increasing that is the mistargeted ratio in 2014 as 1,85% was much lower than the mistargeted ratio in 2010 as 23,54%.Keywords : Credit for business, economic development, productive sector, poverty, working capital.
The government issued a stimulus policy to reduce the impact of COVID-19, namely the Staple Foodprogram or extended BPNT program. One of the goals of implementing the BPNT program is to reduce the level ofincome inequality of the Indonesian people. Thus, this study aims to calculate and obtain the decrease in the GiniCoefficient as a result of the implementation of the BPNT program in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands. Thisstudy uses the Counter Factual Analysis (CFA) method and the March 2020 Susenas data. This study concludes thatthe implementation of the BPNT program in 2020 is able to reduce the level of income inequality in the BangkaBelitung Islands Province, Indonesia, which is able to reduce the Gini Coefficient of the Bangka Belitung IslandsProvince by -0.43%. This study recommends that the provincial government of Bangka Belitung Islands as theimplementer of the Staple Food/BPNT program needs to improve the implementation of the BPNT program in theBangka Belitung Islands Province by ensuring Beneficiary Families/KPM (Keluarga Penerima Manfaat) can buyfood needs at the average price that applies in the market, ensuring KPM are able to choose good food ingredientsfrom quality, price and quantity, improving the quality of goods purchased by KPM and keeping the price moreaffordable, ensuring the availability of staple foodstuffs which are the main components of the program, ensuringthat realization in the field is according to a predetermined schedule, and ensuring the Covid-19 preventionprotocol can be running in the process of realization of the Staple Food/BPNT program.
