The study of the effect of certification and competency towards teacher quality has been carried out in MAN 3 High School of Tangerang, Perum Islamic Karawaci Tangerang City District, Banten Province, Indonesia, from 2013 until 2014. The main objective of this study was to determine (1) whether there is a difference in the quality of teachers before and after certification, and (2) to the extent of which the influence of certification benefit on teacher performance. The method used in this study was survey that was limited to the survey of sample. In determining the size of the sample of those teachers who had been certified, the sampling technique used was simple random technique. Descriptive quantitative by using figures and calculations with statistical methods was used on this study. The data then classified and categorized using certain tables. Simple regression analysis, two-way analysis variance with the fulfillment of the test homogeneity variance analysis, and test validity and reliability were used for data analysis. The results showed that (1) all data had met the prerequisite test analysis based on the results of test normality and linearity (2) There were positive and significant effect for certification on teacher quality.

Four clonal oil palm materials namely AVROS, Yangambi, La Me and NIFOR and two DxP hybrid Yangambi, grown on terraced and unterraced fields were subjected to irrigated and non-irrigated conditions. There were significant differences in all leaf nutrient concentrations for all the planting materials for both terrain and irrigation conditions. For nonirrigated palms, most of the leaf nutrients were higher than the irrigated palms, especially K and Mg concentrations. Most of the leaf nutrient concentrations in palms grown on undulating area were also high, especially for leaf Mg and K concentrations. Leaf K concentration for DxP hybrid Yangambi-DQ8 was consistently lower than AVROS-A122 by almost 15-20% in all the growing conditions. In contrast, the leaf K contents for Yangambi-DQ8 and Yangambi-Y103 were comparable to that of AVROS-A122 and these three planting materials produced the highest oil yields. In view of future high current fertilizer cost, selecting oil palm genotypes that are able to produce good oil yields on low fertilizer inputs and giving consistent leaf nutrition need to be given consideration.
Learning system Electronic or online learning is a policy implemented by the government during this pandemic. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia has issued a Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture Number: 36962 / MPK.A / HK / 2020 regarding Online Learning and Working from Home in the Context of Preventing the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). The emergence of distance or online learning can anticipate the role of teachers as teachers and educators. This research was conducted on students of the Tarbiyah Faculty of Social Sciences (SS) StudyProgram. The research method used a quantitative approach with case studies and a descriptive qualitative approach. The literature review is carried out as a basis for argumentation both through the results of previous research in research journals, related books, and theoretical critical studies. The results showed that there were positive and negative impacts felt by technology users when doing distance learning. One of the positive impacts that can be felt is that learning can take place even though it is carried out in their respective homes. However, there are also negative impacts that are felt, starting from the signal strength that is not the same in each region so that there are often difficulties in accessing information and difficulties in the applications used. And most importantly, the delivery of learning material cannot be done optimally like during class learning.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
