Kendal Regency has developed into one of the Special Economic Zones. The development is to become one of the new industrial areas to improve the economy of the community and the region. This is undoubtedly related to the hope of increasing employment so that it is also able to increase employment and improve the economy of the community and the region. However, the availability of labor is still dominated by elementary school graduates/equivalent, and the impact of industrial development on the regional economy has not been seen significantly. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between industrial growth and employment based on the last education completed, the relationship between industrial growth and industrial GRDP growth, and strategies that can be taken to maximize employment. This study uses secondary data collected from the BPS, namely Kendal Regency in Figures and Central Java Province, and related regional regulations. The primary data available is insufficient for data needs requiring time-series data. This study uses a quantitative method with the Kendalls'tau b correlation test and multiple correlation test analysis methods. It uses the calculation of the elasticity of labor and the projection of labor absorption. The result is that 1) there is a relationship between industrial growth and employment based on the last education completed, 2) there is no relationship between industrial growth and GRDP growth in the industrial sector, and 3) the strategy that can be done to maximize employment is to improve quality human resources and promote industrial growth. Keywords: employment, education, GRDP, industry
The majority of adolescents in Indonesia are already dating. However, the distribution of the dating phenomenon among adolescents varies between provinces in Indonesia. South Kalimantan is the province with the smallest percentage of boyfriend/girlfriend ownership in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the distribution of dating adolescents with comparative analysis of gender and place of residence in the form of rural and urban areas in South Kalimantan in 2017. This study uses secondary data as an analysis tool. Secondary data were obtained from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) on the Adolescent Reproductive Health component. The variables used include two aspects, namely the socio-demographic conditions and dating plus dating behavior in adolescents. The data were then processed and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that adolescents in the rural had a greater percentage of boyfriend/girlfriend ownership than urban adolescents. Males are more permissive of sexual dating behavior to premarital sex than females. In this case, both males and females in urban areas are more permissive of premarital sex than males and females in rural areas.
The high percentage of male adolescents who had premarital sex and dating in Indonesia on the Java Islands makes it a serious problem. This is exacerbated by the results of research which show that the experience of dating from an early age can increase the likelihood of adolescents engaging in sexual intercourse. This study aims to analyze the correlation between dating experiences and premarital sex as measured by age at first initiation, as well as to determine the spatial distribution of prevalence and correlation. This research is a quantitative statistical study using the Spearman Rank correlation test and also using a map to describe the spatial distribution. The results showed that there are 84 percent of male adolescents in Java who started dating at the age of less than 19 years, also doing sexual intercourse in that age range. This shows male adolescents have experienced a process of greater sexual maturity, so that they have a higher urge to engage in sexual behavior. This condition is in line with the results of the correlation test, where there are 4 provinces in Java which have a positive and significant correlation between the two variables, including Banten, Jakarta, Central Java and West Java. It means the younger the age at first dating adolescents, the younger they will have premarital sex.
