The development of technology has increasingly sophisticated and has a positive influence on human life. The location tracking system that is currently overgrowing in the world of technology is required to be able to serve consumers until consumers can benefit from the technology. Given the number of thefts in Indonesia is currently increasing and the need for a security system that can work continuously automatically. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to make the location tracking system as expected by the community. Based on the testing that has been done on the tool and see the purpose of this research, it can be concluded that this tool has been tested and can be used to help secure systems to track valuable tools such as motorcycles, bags, cars, etc. based on Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates sent by SIM 800L module to numbers destination of cellphone.
This study investigates the impact of using online applications, which is integrating software or platform to support remote teaching and learning. Lots of online applications, both free and paid-for, can be used by teachers to enrich classroom interaction and to support students’ ability and understanding in the process of teaching and assessment. This study used descriptive mixed method design. To collect data, questionnaire was distributed to 140 students from senior high schools in Riau province. The findings showed that students believe in the significance of online applications to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments and receiving immediate feedback which is supported by some applications. On the other hand, the findings indicated that remote teaching did not create huge opportunities for effective learning and collaboration outside the classroom. Students need that the teachers should focus on pedagogy and learning, rather than technology. It is very important to provide immediate feedback during the formative assessment process to enhance students’ performance.
The research aims at describing how Gurindam Dua Belas (G12) is used as a learning resource in Islamic Education. G12 is a documenttype literary work derived from the local wisdom of Riau Islands' Malay. In Islamic Education classrooms, the use of G12 benefits the students because of its great rhythms, meanings, values, and life lessons. This research employs descriptive methodology with qualitative approach. Based on the primary and secondary source analysis, the conclusion can be drawn that the 12 chapters of Gurindam implicitly embodies life lessons and good character models that are suitable for an Islamic Education class. In detail, G12 can: a) introduce and promote the local wisdom of Riau Islands' Malay, b) nurture the students' religious values and good characters, c) promote the students' motivation and learning experience, and d) stimulate the teachers' creativity. In conclusion, G12 as a learning source can stimulate religious, communicative, and engaging learning experience despite of the challenges it may face in its implementation.
This study aimed to describe the strengthening of student character by learning Gurindam 12 through Role Playing assisted by Audio Visual. The research method was carried out with the Borg and Gall theory on research and development (R and D), this researcher conducted pre-tests and post-tests to find out whether local wisdom learning of Gurindam 12 through Role Playing assisted by Audio Visual can improve noble character in students. The sample in this study were prospective students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program teachers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UMRAH. The result is that the Gurindam 12 through Role Playing assisted by Audio Visual makes learning more active and more enjoyable and can increase the values of positive characters in students including helping and cooperating with each other, and socially sensitive.
The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation or application of instructional books Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim the moral formation of students at boarding school Alkhairaat Madinatul Ilmi Dolo. The qualitative method is used as a method of approach in this study by using observation data collection, interviews, and documentation are analyzed by using the method of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The research indicate is result of learning book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim is one book that discusses the presentation on moral learning that must be owned by the students in their studies. Terpokus description on what attitudes must be done by the students in studying good relationship with the teacher (Kiai), with fellow students, as well as how it should be enacting the books (the book) he learned it. In other words, this book is a guideline or code of conduct that students succeed in their studies either in accordance with laid down by Islam. By studying the book Ta'li m al-Muta'allim such, the students should be able to practice and broadcast both inside and outside the boarding school / community. As for the implementation of Learning book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim the moral formation of students at boarding school Alkhairaat Madinatul Ilmi Dolo is providing direct guidance of teaching through the book, namely by providing appropriate role models that are suggested or taught by the book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim. Therefore, application of the Book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim between teachers and students in learning is usually not optimal, the influence of the factors of teachers, for example exemplary. So, it should be an important practice, not only wants his students to master learning the book but have a direct practice.
