Połączenia lutowane aluminium z miedzią, stalą niestopową i stopową, wykonane spoiwami cynkowymi soldered joints aluminum with copper, unalloyed steel and alloy steel made of zinc binders Prof. dr hab. inż.
Ponadto występuje niebezpieczeństwo tworzenia się twardych faz międzymetalicznych powodujących kruchość połączeń lutowanych.W artykule przedstawiono wyniki prób zwilżalności i rozpływności badanych materiałów spoiwami cynkowymi. Przeprowadzono również badania metalograficzne przy użyciu mikroskopii świetlnej oraz pomiary mikrotwardości i wytrzymałości na ścinanie połączeń lutowanych.
abstractThe performance of the opposite soldered joints aluminum with other metals, such as: copper, unalloyed steel and alloy steel is linked to major difficulties. These problems arise mainly from diverse physicochemical and mechanical properties of jointing materials. Moreover, there is a danger of creating a hard intermetallic phases causing fragility soldered joints. The results of wattability trials and surface area of melt zinc solder on tested materials are showed in the article. Also conducts metallographic research using illuminating microscopy and microhardness measurements and for shear strength soldered joints.
The paper presents the influence of the brazing gap width on the structure of bonded joints during the production of aluminum heat exchangers, using brazing technology, in tunnel furnaces with controlled atmosphere. Based on the wedge test, an analysis and qualitative assessment of brazed joints was made for the changing width of the brazing gap and the filler metal used. For the received brazed joints, metallographic tests were carried out using light and electron microscopy (SEM) and microhardness measurements in the characteristic areas of brazed joints. Based on the results obtained, the recommended width of the brazing gap was determined.
Abstract:The article presents issues related to the braze welding process, discusses primary methods applied in industry as well as indicates characteristic features of the process, discusses the structure of joints most commonly used in industry and advanced braze welding methods enabling the obtainment of joints satisfying strict quality requirements. In addition, the article assesses the possibility of using the braze welding technology when repairing casts made of various casting alloys, discusses application areas for braze welded joints of materials characterised by different mechanical and physicochemical properties as well as presents metallographic and mechanical test results concerning braze welded joints made using a robotic CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) braze welding station.
