Abstract:Modern educational websites offer a wealth of information and content intended for both students and teachers.Such facilities often are not grouped in a single location. While students are in need of fast and effi cient access to certain content, teachers are in need for an insight into the learning process of students. By using capabilities of Ajax, it is possible to implement a system for mutual support, where teachers and students who have knowledge of the desired resource would share it with students who are in need of such information in real time. History-enriched digital objects can be used to store information about knowledge sharing. In combination with the records of user's behavior from the log fi les, this shared knowledge can make a signifi cant contribution to the successful design and navigation of adaptive web sites. Adaptive web sites can change their content and presentation based on the previously recorded user's behavior.
Abstract:Educational information about single topic may be found on many different website pages. Those web pages may have different roles, such as the display of information related to teaching, teaching content or routing to other web pages. Educational material can be placed on adaptive websites. Adaptive websites can customize their view and the structure on the basis of previously recorded user behavior. Documents on which visitors often end their navigation are called target documents, and users often visit waypost documents before visiting the target documents. Characteristics of different types of documents are being investigated in this paperwork. Also guidelines related to the design of such educational web sites are being provided.
View Plus Radon Detector made by Airthings is a device that allows measuring a number of parameters related to indoor air quality. The device has the ability to connect wirelessly to the Internet, where it is possible to monitor the measurement results later on a purpose-built online platform -Airthings Dashboard. The Airthings Consumer API enables downloading of measured values outside the Airthings Platform as well. This paper presents a web application that allows downloading data from the Airthings Consumer API and displaying them in a graphical environment. This web application was created using React.js, JavaScript, CSS and HTML. The solution presented in this paper is comparable to other studies results that offer similar functionalities. Similar solutions offer the possibility to monitor air quality parameters as well as our solution, taking into account the fact that hardware and software technologies are versatile and we have not found an identical combination of our hardware and software in other solutions. The display of results on the web offered by our solution is an approach that also exists in some other solutions. Mitigation and prediction are components that exist in some of the other solutions, and our goal is to enable our solutions with a support for these components.
