In civil aviation land-based navigation equipment, the DME(Distance Measuring Equipment) system is a widely used short-range navigation equipment. Through the research on the antenna of the DME equipment, the antenna signal of the DME equipment is modeled and simulated, and the electromagnetic signal three-dimensional pattern of the DME equipment and the corresponding pattern of the E plane are obtained. On the basis of mastering the antenna signal radiation characteristics of each navigation device, the DME coverage area is simulated and analyzed.

Aiming at the problem that civil aviation radio navigation equipment is susceptible to interference more and more frequently, through the study of aviation radio interference theory, the categories of civil aviation radio interference are classified, and then the source and harm of radio interference are analyzed, and specific measures to solve the interference problem are proposed. This is of great help to solve the difficult problem of radio interference signals, and is conducive to reducing the probability of civil aviation radio navigation equipment being interfered, thereby ensuring aviation flight safety.

Antenna is an indispensable equipment in radio communication, radio broadcasting, radio navigation, radar, remote control and other radio systems.The significance of the simulation of smart antenna system is not only to verify various technologies of smart antenna and find problems, but also to evaluate the performance of various advanced signal processing algorithms through the processing of experimental data, which can provide strong support for the smooth development of smart antenna research.In this paper, the research of antenna simulation mainly includes the definition of antenna, the development course of antenna, the achievements of antenna research and the direction of current exploration.
