For the problem of automobile exhaust emission pollution is more and more serious, according to the basic principle of non-dispersive infrared method(NDIR), we design a new kind of automobile exhaust wireless monitoring system with the existing GPRS/GSM/GPS technology. This system uses the three-layer structure of car-terminal, wireless network and PC monitoring center. We introduce and research the key technologies and methods of realizing the system. This system has the advantages of convenience and quick, good real-time, easy to manage and etc.
This research proposed an automatic verification device and realized automatic verification of vehicle sideslip tester. In this research, AVD(Automatic Verification Device) constitutes down termination PLC and touch screen MCGS, ensuring the automatic verification accurate and efficient. The AVD not only realized the application of electronic technology and sensor technology during the certification process, but also avoided the uncertainty caused by the artificial reading and data sampling difference. Furthermore, the system can generate the original records and certificates reports automatically, which improve the efficiency of measurement greatly and reduce the verification workload. The system has extensive practical value in the verification of vehicle sideslip tester, it can be extended to other items in vehicle inspection field.
This research proposed a real time exhaust measuring system and realized automatic acquisition of exhaust data. In this research, VMT (Vehicle Mounted Terminal) which is integrated with GPRS module, GPS module,exhaust detection unit and microcontroller unit, collected the concentration of CO2, CO and HC and the vehicle location which were then sent to MC (Monitoring Center) via GSM/GPRS net. In this way, both exhaust transient data under daily running and vehicle location are available to environment protection department, which provided a new method to rid high emitting vehicles in urban areas. The system has extensive practical value in vehicle exhaust online detecting, remote vehicles management and environment monitoring.
In order to test the parking brake performance of in-use vehicle, in this research, we designed a set of automated test system which could calculate the parking brake performance. The automated test system which was composed of four parts: vehicles weighing device, automatic traction gear, force cell, and intelligent control unit would calculate the braking force based on the traction force and the total mass of the vehicle. The results indicate that this test equipment is found to be convenient application, small floor coverage and reliable.
