One oil soluble zinc oxide nanoparticles were prepared by surface-modification method. Its tribological performance was evaluated by four-ball test, SRV Friction-Wear Test and Mini-Traction machine, its oxidation resistance estimated by Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Test and Pressurized Differential Scanning Calorimetry, all these study were contrast with ZDDP in base oils and API SM Gasoline engine oil. As a result, nanozinc oxide has good anti-oxidative capability, excellent anti-wear properties, In API SM Gasoline engine oil, the comprehensive Performance of nanoZnO additive substitution ZDDP is similar to ZDDP, in particular friction and antioxidative properties, nanoZnO in more outstanding than ZDDP. These results showed that zinc oxide nanoparticles were a kind of good performance lubricanting oil additives.
A survey on the tail gas contained HF of the electrolyzed aluminumindustry was analyzed at first,which included the applications of tail gas treating technology and gas purification devices both at home and abroad.Combining with their professional knowledge and engineering experience,a technical scheme was formed that purifying the tail gas with HF by a new progress,which designed a set of pilot plant about wet hydrogen fluoride absorption, and the optimization of this process scheme. At last,safe operation, equipment design and material selection, automatic control were discussed in this paper. It is worth mentioning that the detection method of by-products and the comprehensive utilization of subsequent product were established.
Being a new whisker products with high performance to price ratio, magnesium borate whiskers with a length of 10 - 50μm and a diameter of 0.5 - 2μm were prepared by molten salt and characterized by XRD, FT - IR, SEM and chemical titration. The experiments show that the synthesis conditions are as follows: raw materials ratio: Mg:B:flux =1:11.05:1-3.5(mol); reaction temperature: 800 - 950°C;reaction time:6 - 10hours; flux: NaCl、KCl or NaOH.
In the experiment, the tetrabutyl titanate and lanthanum nitrate were used as raw material, lanthanum doped TiO2 powder was prepared by sol-gel method, were characterized by using XRD, UV-vis, IR to determine the crystal structure, grain size and spectral properties. The results showed that the calcination temperature is 600 °C, lanthanum doping ratio is 0.6%, the amount of catalyst is 50mg and the visible light photocatalytic degradation time at 60min, the degradation of methyl orange solution rate of 20mg/L can reach 36%. Samples with anatase as the main, in the catalyst preparation process, due to the synergistic effects of lanthanum doping, the modified TiO2 absorption band of different redshift, enhanced the catalytic activity of TiO2 visible light.
The isothermal solubility of the ternary system K+,Mg2+/B4O72-—H2O at 25°C has been studied and the phase diagram is determined. The results show that the system is of the simple eutonic type and can be in metastable equilibrium state within 8—16 hours. The phase diagram consists of two solubility branches corresponding to the crystallization areas of K2B4O7•4H2O and MgB4O7•9H2O. The composition of the eutonic point is MgB4O7,0.5279%(Wt%) and K2B4O7,13.9629%(Wt%) respectively. The replicate experiments proved that the phase transformation of hungtsaoite (MgB4O7•9H2O) occurs after a 20 hours epuilibrium.
