NAS (National Aerospace Standard) 979 is the only standard well known in industry describing a five-axis machining test for measuring kinematic errors of five-axis machine tools. As it cannot reflect the tool path characteristics of typical ruled surface machining, five-axis machine tools which passed the NAS test may not have the ability to satisfy the requirement of the real industrial applications. To fill this gap between the NAS test and the real industrial applications, an “S” machining test is proposed in this paper. The case study shows that the proposed machining test is feasible and practicable.
Analyse the cause of fault in CNC Machine, research the corresponding solve scheme, and to realize the state can monitor equipment operation, improve equipment reliability, the development set of machine condition monitoring, fault warning, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting as one of the intelligent security system. Based on the CNC machine intelligence support system research, design, introduces the key technologies and methods. Screw lift state of motion monitoring, for example, trend analysis exercise state, intelligent fault diagnosis, in order to achieve protection of the intelligent CNC machine tools to verify the practicality of intelligent security systems.
The error sources of machining accuracy of CNC machine tools including geometric error, thermal error, system error and error of load control etc. The error source affect the relative position of the cutting tool and the workpiece by the dynamic motion, and then affect the machining accuracy of the workpiece. By trial cutting method, "S" test part is a new test part for detecting machining accuracy of five-axis linkage machine tools. Through experiment and simulation, identification of the error source of the machining accuracy and the regular of "S" test part surface errors, surface quality, results show that "S" test part can reflect the machining accuracy of CNC machine tool.
This paper studies control and motion theory of feed system of the five-axis CNC machine tools, propose the method of establish mathematical model, kinematics model of the feed system, in order to provide a method of theoretical research for accuracy identification of five-axis CNC machine tools.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
