Abstract. In order to improve the overall dynamic performance of mechanical equipment, finite element modeling, correction and parameter identification are carried out by means of the combination of finite element simulation analysis and experimental test. The finite element model correction technique based on response surface method is studied. Based on the experimental modal data, the uncertain parameters in the substructure model are identified. The simulation and experimental modalities are analyzed. The results show that the corrected values of support stiffness 1 and support stiffness 2 are respectively 0.8 and 1.2 times the initial values. At the same time, the errors of modal frequencies are close to zero after iteration. Therefore, the response surface model and the modified procedure is feasible and effective.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
