Carbohydrates U 0500Reactivity of per-O-Acetylated 1-Thioglycosides and Glycosyl Sulfones Towards Chromium(II) Complexes in Aqueous Medium. -It is demonstrated that hydrolytically stable anomeric C-S bonds can be cleaved by Cr(II)-EDTA complexes.
