This study aims to visually present the bibliometric data sources related to the origin of TAM as a result of the literature review by running the VOSviewer visual mapping technique. The bibliometric data sources obtained, the selected studies and the citation counts of these studies are for the researchers who contributed to TAM, the theoretical foundations of TAM, the key components of TAM, and the application areas of TAM. The PRISMA 2009 Flow Diagram was used for a systematic literature review. Many studies published from 1985, when the original TAM was introduced, to 2008, when TAM 3 was introduced, contributed to the development of TAM, and most of these studies have over one thousand citation counts. Fred D. Davis and/or Viswanath Venkatesh have co-authored with some of the researchers contributing to TAM. The theoretical foundations of TAM are based on many more theories/models in addition to the theory of reasoned action. In addition to the two key components of ease of use and usefulness, TAM has other key components. Finally, management information technology, management information systems, and computer technology are areas where TAM is applied. Explanations are provided in this present study with a marketing-sided approach to the application areas of TAM.
The aim of this study is to present a general literature typology of flow theory where a history of roughly 47 years (1975-present) exists. YÖK (Council of Higher Education) Thesis Center and Google Academic databases were used for this paper and flow and flow experience concepts have been examined through these sources.YÖK Thesis Center is a website within higher education institution in Turkey, where publication of master's and doctoral thesis. A number of studies published in the time period from 1975 to the present had been obtained and these studies were reviewed. Subsequently, frequency analyses were made for the research and the bibliographic mapping of the data was done using VOSviewer software. As a result of the analysis, a bibliography of 110 selected studies is presented. Flow experience, which is mainly subject to physical activities, is evaluated in the areas of technology acceptance and consumer behavior in computer-mediated environments. Flow theory is mostly integrated with the technology acceptance model. Flow theory experience is characterized by the dimensions of concentration, enjoyment, and control, respectively. This research provides clear explanations for bibliographic analysis of studies on flow, models/theories with which flow theory is most integrated, and dimensions of flow experience.
This study aims to examine the intentions of consumers to use digital currency for shopping. For this aim, data were collected from 230 people using the online survey method. Statistical analyzes were performed for the analysis of the hypotheses. According to the one-sample t-test result; digital currency has a significant positive effect on consumers' intention to use digital currency for shopping. According to the independent samples t-test results; there is a significant difference in the intention to use digital currency between genders. Male are more intent on making purchases using digital currency. However, according to the results of ANOVA; there is no significant difference in the intention to use digital currency between generations. According to the results of simple linear regression analysis, perceived innovativeness, enjoyment, ease of use, usefulness, speed of access, and trust have a significant positive effect on the intention to use digital currency. Perceived risk has a significant negative effect on the intention to use digital currency. However, the effect of perceived financial cost on the intention to use a digital currency is not significant. Recommendations are provided at the end of the study.
