Studying hydrocarbon material requires ability in problem solving so students are able to identify, analyze, and describe abstract chemical concepts and principles into concrete. The purpose of this study was to the improving of students' hydrocarbon problem solving abilities through the SAVI learning model assisted by puzzle media. The research design used in this study was pre-experimental with a research design namely One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study was conducted at SMAN 7 Mataram, Jl. Adi Sucipto, Ampenan Utara, Kec. Ampenan, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Science. The research instrument include syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, and multiple choice test items. Data were analyzed using the N-Gain test to find out the increased ability to solve hydrocarbon problems. The results showed that the level of N-Gain was in the range of 0.33 with a moderate category which meant an increase in students' problem solving abilities after using the SAVI model assisted by puzzle media. Thus, it can be concluded that students' problem solving abilities can be improved through the application of SAVI learning models assisted by puzzle media.
Quality health services can only be realized with the benefits of professional health services, as well as nursing care should be done with professional nursing practice. The function of motivation, communication, supervision, delegation and conflict management function can improve nurse's performance in applying nursing care. This research can be done by overcoming the nursing care in hospital wards RSUD Bima. This research use descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. The instrument used is questionnaire. The number of research samples was 86 nurses who were in 7 inpatient wards taken at random. The data analysis process used a chi-square test to determine the relationship with performance, and some lig- istical regression tests applied the most severe variables associated with nurse performance. The results showed that the variable of directive function (motivation pv = 0,005, communication pv = 0,019 supervision pv = 0,006 delegate pv = 0,026, conflict management pv = 0,004) relate to nurse performance with confounding variable (age, sex, marital status, occupation and Education) has no relationship with the performance of nurses. The majority of nurses apply a well-headed room head function. The most severe variable to the performance of the nursing service is the conflict management function
Kata Kunci: Media Monopoli, Motivasi.ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the application of biology monopoly learning media on the material classification of living things in increasing motivation to learn junior high school students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research approach that is oriented towards measuring student learning motivation. Data analysis techniques using motivation scores. Data collection techniques using student learning motivation questionnaire. The samples in this study were 64 grade 7 students of SMPN 14 and SMPN 17 Mataram taken using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, biology monopoly media can build student motivation on aspects of interest in learning, independence in answering questions and the courage to express opinions.
