Cultural design integrates cultural content into the design process. It is an important means to realize the innovation of traditional culture in inheritance. Cultural design behavior is subtly influenced by cultural philosophy. Specifically, cultural environment analysis, cultural semantic association and cultural imagery extraction, from the perspective of cultural philosophy, are helpful in realizing the explicitness of designers’ implicit knowledge in the process of encoding and decoding cultural genes. We select Ningbo as a sample to deeply mine the regional cultural genes, explore the generation mode of cultural design, and further propose a framework for building a cultural design knowledge service system. So as to provide methodological guidance for regional cultural design practice to build sustainable cultural design capabilities.
In order to build a safe, credible, responsible, and sustainable intelligent nonlinear prediction creative design system, this paper explores the process of intelligent creative design through four stages of user research, concept ideation, design generation, and design evaluation, then discusses the potential ethical issues in three fields of data perception, experiential computing, and intelligent production in the process of intelligent creative design; and then analyzes the ethical dilemmas that intelligent creative design systems may face. It can establish a necessary theoretical foundation for the upcoming vigorous development of intelligent creative design and set up the situation to rethink design values in the age of artificial intelligence.
Abstract. This paper investigates a design of a energy harvester that uses magnetic levitation to produce an oscillator with a appendage linear spring. The harmonic balance method is developed to analyze the frequency-amplitude response relationship. The numerical results show that the strength and bandwidth of energy harvesting are improved by adjusting the mass ratio. The analytical results are supported by the numerical solutions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
