The article is devoted to the issues of the functioning and development of energy in each country, caused mainly by the economic expediency of renewable energy and the requirements of energy independence. Also, the article examines the importance of replacing traditional fuels with alternative energy sources. The international experience of the countries in the field of efficient use of available natural resources of the fuel and energy complex and enhancement of the potential of the energy sector have been analyzed. A number of common characteristics and directions of energy efficiency improvement for European countries are highlighted. Alternative types of energy and measures necessary for their implementation have been offered. The potential resources of renewable energy sources have been analyzed. The article is devoted to the use of economical and ecological type of fuel - biofuel for Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of the situation on the energy market, renewable energy is examine, which plays a compensatory role in global energy consumption in the conditions of growing exhaustion of non-renewable sources.
The article defines the principles of management of the protection of critical infrastructure objects from the position of international policy of the EU countries. The main stages of development of EU cooperation in this area were studied. The possibility of implementing the EU experience in the management of the security of critical infrastructure in Ukraine has been justified. The structure of protection of critical infrastructure objects in the EU is analyzed. The place of the corporate sector in these issues is considered. The importance of insurance companies and medical centers in this sphere was underlined. Analysis of critical infrastructure protection programs helps to identify the principles, processes and tools that propose the implementation of security systems. Implementation of these projects will be completed in appropriate cases specific to the communications sector. The authors emphasize that nuclear safety should be the focus of the EU and each country’s governance bodies, so the EU Joint Research Center solves key scientific and technological challenges in nuclear safety. Based on the analysis of foreign experience, it is noted that the scientific and practical interest for use in Ukraine in the process of protection of critical infrastructure objects can be the activity of structures created for the purpose of monitoring and analysis of open information. On this basis, the ways of ensuring the security of the objects of the critical infrastructure of Ukraine have been defined. It is noted that international policy should be based on legislative acts, which are coordinated for coordination by a single center. It is concluded that Ukraine’s security policy is developing in the context of implementation of European standards of formation and operation of critical infrastructure.
The publication considers the features of defining resource management as a qualitatively new model of environmental management in the spatial context. Ways of ensuring rational use and conservation of natural resource potential on the criteria of sustainable development are outlined. It has been proven that environmental degradation is a key factor in economic development; economic growth is an integral part of economic development. Qualitative transformations, which take place in the context of intense economic growth, are a powerful impetus for the transition of the economy from pre-industrial to industrial, from industrial to post-industrial stage of development. Economic development, accompanied by structural changes, contributes to the reduction of man-made load on the environment.
The authors affirm that with the globalization of the world economy it is necessary to introduce the mechanism of environmentally sustainable economic functioning of the country. The article maintains that active use of environmental taxes must help to reduce the overall level of environmental pollution and increase production of environmentally clean products.
