The article presents the results of research on the causes of teenagers’ illegal behavior at school and their personal characteristics that provoke illegal behavior. It is assumed that many crimes are committed by teenagers involuntarily, and acquiring legal knowledge contributes to the development of adequate social activity, helps to determine the line between what is allowed and what is forbidden and choose legal ways and means to protect personal rights and interests. The article reveals the content of the program of measures to prevent teenagers’ illegal behavior in an educational institution.
