The article substantiates approach to the study of crime of aggression, taking into account the analysis of the behavior principles of interaction of personal and situational factors; interaction of aggressive and antiaggressive personal factors. Three-dimensional typology of crime of aggression formed three axles: high – low aggressiveness; formation – aborted personal aggression inhibitors; neutral – a legally significant traumatic situation. This typology has been verified on the basis of empirical material, including 329 people (257 males and 72 women aged 18 to 70 years) charged with violent crimes. All of the defendants (33 % mental health 67 % – with a variety of mental disorders not excluding sanity) were examined in the production of a comprehensive forensic psychological and psychiatric examination. A cluster analysis of the subjects (Ward's method) showed the validity of the choice of three bases of a typology of criminal aggression. The most powerful discriminator of types of aggression were personal inhibitors of aggression, less severe factors of high aggressiveness and characteristics of the situation. Identified correlations between various mental disorders and types of aggression.
In the mediatized society, traditional institutions, specifically high school, are included into economic and communicational competition. They face the necessity to communicate with their publicities by new unfamiliar means, like Instagram, and sometimes fail this challenge because of poor strategy preparation. The present study addresses the issue of incongruity between the visual communication of a higher education organization (Karazin Kharkiv National University as the case) and its young audience’s preferences in visual consumption. To gain a deeper understanding of the real and potential students’ preferences, an online survey was conducted. Data analysis included distributions, means, factor and cluster analysis. As a result, we identified the favorite patterns of photos and their perception, segmented the audience on Instagram by practices of picture evaluation. All this allowed proposing the strategical recommendations for the University PR-strategy, which has already shown its effectiveness for Karazin University and is potentially implementable for any educational institution facing the same challenges
The problem of the emergence of aggressive behavior is seen through the analysis of the relationship of proagressive and inhibiting aggression personality structures. The study involved 54 men serving sentences for criminal offenses, of which 24 were accused for violent offenses and 30 - for offenses without resorting to violence. We used questionnaires to study the proagressive and deterring aggression personality structures. Statistical analysis was performed to reveal significant differences between groups and to determine correlations. On this basis, the correlations were interpreted with the help of not only quantitative but also qualitative analysis. The results showed no significant differences in the level of expression of aggression and aggression inhibitors between treatment groups, but we identified qualitative differences in the structural analysis of data from individual psychological characteristics that are expected to distinguish aggressive offenders from the perpetrators without violence.
The article is devoted to studying of psychological features of persons influencing the choice of tactics of interrogation of witnesses. In this study 70 students took part with incomplete higher education between the ages of 18 to 21 years. The experimental group consisted of 35 people with type external locus of control, a control group – 35 people with type internal locus of control. Was conducted a multifaceted study of the individual and identified groups of people with hysteroid, schizoid and psychasthenic personal orientation, which were selected ten theory-based, efficient tactic, allowing to improve the effectiveness of testimony. According to the results the efficiency of testimony depends on the type of locus of control, when the person has a internal locus control efficiency response without the use of tactics is significantly higher than in subjects with external type of locus of control. Were given ecommendations to improve the effectiveness of testimony to persons with internal and external locus of control in the process of interrogation depending on the personal profile.
