To our knowledge, there is a need to develop a methodological approach to the assessment of united communiti es` human resources` level of interacti ons, as a large group, and of separate structural unit's-a small group. This allows us to determine the dependence of the level of interacti ons on the number of people who interact within a parti cular structure and the nature of the acti vity they carry out-intellectual or manual labor. The purpose of our research is to develop a methodological approach to the assessment of the level of human resources` interacti ons, which allows us to identi fy key areas and policy measures. Expert assessments and analyti cal dependencies are used as research tools in the arti cle. These tools allow us to quanti tati vely determine the level of human resources` interacti ons for an individual enti ty. Empirical implementati on of the proposed approach, using the example of two enti ti es varying in size and nature of labor, allowed us to make a comparati ve analysis and to disti nguish the characteristi c features that are the basis for making managerial decisions. A manager acts as an expert who assesses the presence or absence of a parti cular event in the subordinate unit. The indicator, which characterizes the presence or absence of certain acti viti es and the level of parti cipati on in them, is defi ned on the basis of managerial assessment. The next stage is to determine the interacti on rate by means of certain mathemati cal dependencies and results` analysis. As a result of the research, we got the assessment of the level of human resources` interacti ons between two enti ti es-a united community and a structural unit. The assessment revealed a dependence on the level of interacti ons on the enti ty`s size (small and large groups) and the nature of labor. The results showed that a structural unit, focused on intellectual labor and presented by a small group, has a greater level of interacti ons than a united community, which has a bigger size and a predominance of manual labor.
The objective of the study is to develop favourable environment’s assessment and forecasting methodology for social entrepreneurship development in market economies. Methodology. Econometric method to build regression model of country’s favourable conditions for social entrepreneurs’ relationship to its determinants is applied in the research. The research is based on previously developed multi-step algorithm: statistical data systematization, regression model building and relevant variables’ selection, new regression model building excluding insignificant variables, type of regression model setting and scenario forecasting. The type of regression model that best describes the correlation nature has been determined. Scenario forecasting of country’s favourable conditions’ changes for social entrepreneurs based on “state policy support of social entrepreneurship development” implementation has been carried out. Three scenarios of social entrepreneurship development have been designed: pessimistic, inertial (basic) and optimistic. Research data comes from statistical databases of “The best countries to be a social entrepreneur” poll conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2016 and 2019. Study results revealed that country’s favourable conditions for social entrepreneurs’ development are mostly affected by government policy support and investment access which form particular environment aimed at successful economic performance inside a country. Practical implications. Assessment and forecasting of favourable development of social entrepreneurship reveals its strengths and weaknesses that need to be improved through implementation of centralized “government policy for the development of social entrepreneurship.” This enables countries not only to keep scores of “the best country for the development of social entrepreneurship”, but also to improve their position in the future. Value/originality. Nowadays social entrepreneurship is becoming a tool to overcome current challenges and preserve human potential by the resurgence of innovative forms of business. One of the ways to achieve the objective is proposed in our study.
The study of social entrepreneurship and the assessment of its necessity caused by MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT ISSUE 1 (11), 2020114 countries with similar level of economic development to prove the relevance of social entrepreneurship implementation as innovation form of business, to identify the terms of its advantageous development in the long period and to build the strategy of social enterprises operations and their management.
Present society development faces a significant growth in unemployment in all countries around the world, regardless of the level of their development, and a decrease in income. Instability in the economy causes inability to meet population basic needs at the expense of available opportunities. There is a need to expand social entrepreneurship, launching of social enterprises, whose activities are based on innovative business models with a predominant focus on solving social problems. The entities` management requires training of management professionals able to deal with complex economic and social issues, rather than performing certain functions. The authors argue that it is the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship that determines the prospects for its development in a particular country. To test the hypothesis, a questionnaire was developed and a survey of students of different courses in economics and management was conducted. The questionnaire contained questions that allow us to consider the understanding of social entrepreneurship essence, the role of gender in social business, highlight key characteristics of social entrepreneurship and identify prospects for this innovative model through the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship. The study objective is to determine the propensity / aversion to social entrepreneurship in order to outline the future prospects for the formation of a new business model with value orientations on human resources. The results of the study demonstrated the importance of social entrepreneurship amid economic uncertainty and external threats. The vast majority of respondents have propensity and are ready to do business based on the innovative model of socially-oriented business. However, there is a fundamental belief in the psyche of people in economic benefits, but not the combination of social mission with efficiency, which is the basis of social business. The study could be a starting point for identifying areas to improve managers training through identification of key social orientations, which will help in the future to intensify the development of innovative business models aimed at solving socio-economic problems of a society.
The relevance of the research topic is due to the increasing level of digitalization in all spheres of society in general and international business in particular. The realities of economic life necessitate the formation of digital skills and digital thinking, especially in the management system. Among the main characteristics of the digital economy, which determine its priority for international business, are the concentration of economic activity on the platforms of the digital economy, the formation of personalized service models, direct interaction between producers and consumers, the spread of "sharing economy", increasing the role of individual contribution. The necessity of using modern digital technologies in economic activity and management is substantiated. It is proved that if the company has already achieved some success in international business, using the logic of digital strategy and the internationalization of its activities is successful, it is necessary to continue to develop certain areas of activity. Identify opportunities for digitalization for business in order to take them into account when developing an effective international strategy. Four possible options for implementing an international business strategy within a company operating in foreign markets have been identified, namely: a strategy for duplicating a business model (international strategy), multilocal (multinational), global and transnational strategies. At the present stage, digital business opportunities are more important than raw materials and financial resources, because competitiveness and market position is determined by receiving and processing information in a timely manner, the ability to use information and communication technologies in management. Digitalization is an objective process, so the digital transformation of international business is inevitable when new market conditions are needed and requires the development of a strategy and development strategy. After all, the main priority of international business is not survival, but successful development and entry into new markets with competitive products.
